Reverse if you live in Paisley area and you favourite team are currently pish and come from Firhill ! St Mirren would be the only team I could ever and I mean ever contemplate following should the Jags not exist ( I moved from Partick aged 2.. and have lived in Paisley since ). That hasn't stopped me giving the Jags 35years good service man and boy ! Only cos I love my saturday afternoons with live football and it will always be filled with the hope that someone, anywhere is beating the old firm !

My impression of Cowan's legacy is of a man who started ( Save the Jags ) and I was behind him !! How can things decend into the chaos that seen the end of his tenure ? How can you know unless you are in that situation ? I would buy his autobiography but given his departing statements regarding the club to the E.T... The man is off his heid !! Would be madder to buy that story, than support my beloved Jags lol ! Cmon the Jgas ! Please big turn out on Saturday to show .... The club needs us now more than ever !

Been a Jags fan since my 1st match 35 years ago and it is in the blood. That is what separates real Jags fans from the infirm imho ! We are different cos we support a team that does not always win !! However, we are sadly worse than that bad at the moment and people have rightly strayed. The club is seriously struggling ... The phrase 'rats deserting a sinking ship' is deeply concerning in many ways ( rules regarding directors of liquidated companies ). As a fan ... I feel one of the most laffable things is that the E.T. reporter actually sanctioned the story. Surely the writer would have spoken to the previous Firhill top man ( Bert ? ) before accepting such ridiculous comments as gospel ? Given the previous E.T. reporters apparent reliance on the forum ( of the time ) for his story's. Bring back Bert lol !

There was a wee bit more to that than many know. I was a friend of Mark's late father Gordon and was told a few stories of which I would never doubt ! Just sadly true about the old regime re youths. Not a McCall lover but at least this seems to be better organised and managed.

Mixed feelings with regard to Tuffey. Wished him all the best in the future when I met him tail end last season. But assumed he would be going on to better things to continue his chances internationally and obviously higher wages ! Playing 2nd fiddle at Inverness im sure wasn't on his agenda , despite higher wages he likely will lose his N.Ireland chances. Not finding it funny myself in his misfortune, as there is nothing wrong with trying to better yourself. His biggest mistake is listening too much to his agent and not back tracking and resigning for the Jags. I am sure Jonny Tuffey already knows this ! Or is he glad to be out of the shit we are currently in ... If so who is laffing ?

Do not find this at all surprising in anyway. I considered offering my companies services in conjunction with the club but when I found out that Eddie P was involved I was immediately turned off! The man is not my kind of person, I have met him a few times and I didn't feel comfortable in his company. Possibility ended there and then. Feeling happy that things are happening and hope it is all down to fan / trust pressure but worried like hell at the same time
