lady-isobel-barnett
Was going to post this nearer the time. Rather than going train to Stirling and replacement bus possibly a better way of going by public transport is the following. X26 Dunfermline bus from Buchanan St (9.50/10.50/11.50/12.50) to Forth Valley Hospital (Larbert) (in at 26mins past the hour). This is quite nippy as only makes one stop (Cumbernauld) Then from the hospital take either the H1 or H2 bus to Alloa (leaving at 34 mins past the hour) . That drops you right outside the ground or carry on a couple of stops to town centre. Again quite a nippy service as there's very few stops en route. Journey time from Glasgow to Alloa 1hr 10 mins. If by any chance the X26 was held up (very rarely happens) and miss connection at Larbert stay on X26 till Kincardine and get a bus to Alloa from there. *edited to add I didn't realise roadworks may still be going on that will affect both Clackmannanshire & Kincardine Bridges. Shouldn't be too bad on a Saturday but worth checking out tomorrow am. Edited October 19, 2018 by lady-isobel-barnett
