lennythistle
Really hope I'm wrong but I've a gut feeling he could be announcing a retirement before the end of the week !!
uberteeb
As much as the guy is an absolute legend, from a purely playing perspective this wouldn't be the end of the world.

If he is fully fit, in my opinion, there are few better defenders in the league.

Munkey
Absolutely gutted if this turns out to be the case. Typical McCall rushing people back far to early
lennythistle
Absolutely gutted if this turns out to be the case. Typical McCall rushing people back far to early Sorry Munkey but this is one thing I don't think McCall could be accused of. Every effort was taken in ensuring Archie was fit for duty. These things just sometimes happen. It's due to his previous two long term injuries to his knees that I feel this could be the end and i feared this was going to happen on his come back. Just hope the scan shows no major damage and he is back playing sooner rather than later. Make no mistake, we need him back.
Steven H
Absolutely gutted if this turns out to be the case. Typical McCall rushing people back far to early Is 3 weeks of full training and 2 reserve matches not good enough to confirm he was ready? Obviously not if this injury is the old one flaring up but Jaggy Mac had a similar comeback and is fine. If its the same injury tho I fear Archie will retire, hope not. Sandy Gall
Archie was in the gym again this morning as per during the injury lay-off. Not lifting anything heavy, looks fit and mobile, but not stressing the knees. Didn't look like a guy considering retirement, but I've been wrong before.
