I was at the 1958 final - the first 'big game' I attended - so was roo young to appreciate how good hearts were. Led by Dave Mackay, i can remember my father raving about them. They must have been considering thistle boasted three 1954 world cup players in Jimmy Davidson, Davie Mathers and my first hero, Johnny McKenzie .
