For those who didn't make it, Saturday was a good enough performance to get the whole Jackie Husband stand singing. This week it's the prospect of knocking the Perth upstarts out of the cup. Who could resist? The intrepid Kenny will be off in foreign climes, so won't make it BUT he's already made a provisional booking for a bus. The plan is (help me out if I forgot any of the details we discussed on Saturday, please).: leave Carters Morison Street about noon. Usual pick up at Riccarton. Nae Breeks will pick up the Livvi boys and meet us at a second pick up (Ratho?). Pick up for Rob at some junction(?) near Dalgety Bay. Arrive in pre-industrial Perth well before the game for some socialising (one option to be confirmed is a friendly bowling club bar) before the match. Back to the post-modern world straight after. Price £10 Get your responses in to me on [email protected] quick please so we can work out whether it is financially viable. Not to put too fine a point on it the bus will actually cost more than we rake in from £10 a head and Kenny assures me petrol costs for the day for you motors would be higher. So let's be having youz. When we head for Hampden you don't want to have to admit you missed the victory in Perth. Suas leis na Jagaichean! COme on, youz know it makes sense! Bump/update: As things stand we need several more people to sign up or else we pull the plug on this and car pool. One of the two maybes is now out and so is one of the definites. I've also headr directly from most of the regular travellers and members, many of whom have been hit by an unholy trinity of weddings, work and wee yins, so I'm not holding out a grteat deal of hope and not willing to book a bus and just hope. So, any more for any more? Deadline for pulling the plug will be Wednesday 16:00. Get in touch by then ([email protected]). If we don't have enough by then I'll co-ordinate car pooling. FTOF!
