Graemei
Anyone know of or can reccommend a reasonably priced ceilidh band for hire in and around the Glasgow area? Cheers
Jaggernaut
I seem to remember that the city centre bus crew contains Jags-minded ceilidh band members.
crazy davie
These guys are sh1t hot - http://www.facebook.com/caraidceilidh?v=info http://www.caraidceilidh.co.uk They look awesome and they sound awesome. They did a ceilidh for us (1st Lenzie Boys' Brigade) about a year or so ago. They were much too good for us really, and as an audience we fell far short of what they deserve, but they still gave us a great price and they still gave us their everything. I'd highly recommend them.

I'd love to see a ceilidh band in action, but I know that's not where I'll end up. So no, no, no. This time I win.
B.C.G. JAG
Definitely not The Picts, as they like to add a couple of hunner onto their price when they show up for the gig.

Clinically Depressed
Look up the Ardoch Ceilidh Band. Not sure of the prices, but they do the regular Hogmonay gig at St. Andrews on the Green, and two of the band members are Jags season ticket holders.
