taffthejag
In today's Evening Times David Beattie gave a good interview but was clear that we, along with just about every club in the country, face financial difficulties. He offered suggestions such as plastic pitches for a wider use by the public during the week. The financial hit from the Warriors going is going to bite though. Part-time football? A lot of this we chatted about on Saturday. His idea about the licencing law is a good one. As long as everyone was responsible then why not. Â I can assure you, he never discussed going part time with me. That's not to say they aren't thinking about it but it certainly wasn't discussed. Jaggernaut
By the time we are part time half the first division will be part time with us Maybe so, but the other half won't be. And those will be the "winners" whatever that means.

Unfortunately you are correct about that and even if we did go up a part time club wouldn't survive in the spl. Even if we got a bit of the spl money.
