kevin energy
SFA Youth Cup tie at Firhill on Sunday Saturday's Irn-Bru Scottish League First Division match with Cowdenbeath isn't the only game that Firhill will host this coming weekend. On Sunday a Thistle under 19 side will face Spartans in the First Round of this season's SFA Youth Cup. Kick-off is 2pm and admission is free. Why not pop along and lend the young Jags side your support? http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2012-2013/september_2012/sfa_youth_cup_tie_at_firhill_on_sunday
Capital Jag
We'll be there. Son - also a Jags ST holder - is in the Spartans squad. I'll have to be a traitor for the day :-(
Fawlty Towers
3 - 1 victory for the young Jags I believe.
Capital Jag
Good day out for the Spartans boys. They put up a creditable show for a non-league outfit. Pushing foo many forward for equaliser in 89th minute left them four v two at back for Jags third. Great to see the King and Jaggy MacNamara showing such an interest in the young Jags. Also great to see the young Jags also try to play a decent passing game even when under a bit of pressure.

Good stuff, who within the jags team looks like they could step up to the first team later this season/next season as Bannigan has done? Capital Jag
Somebody who has seen the boys more than once should probably answer that but physically back 4 all looked strong, especially centre backs. Couple of the younger guys further up pitch possibly but not quite ready physically at moment. But then again I'm no scout
Duck snort
Thought this may have been a tough fixture. Spartans have an excellent youth set up.
