Norgethistle
I think with this season we were aiming to make a small profit based on X amount through the gates each week, now with the Ramsdens cup bonus... must be over £100,000 the full house against Morton again probably close to £100,000 again add to that the £80,000 and we will possibly be looking to make a good £200K profit this year after VAT. Now before we start jumping on the buy hem, sign him etc if a decent percentage of this went to paying down our debt, this would leave us a smaller monthly payment so easier to make a profit and the circle continues. Makes a big change from "Planning" on making a 6 figure loss
scottymagoo
Were we not playing catch up at the start of the season with the loss of the Glasgow Warriors money?
jagsman411971
Seem to remember the board budgeted for a seasons average crowd of 2500, anything over that was profit. We should finish the season with an average of around 3500, so if you add that into the Ramsdens cup run, we might have made a few quid. ian_mac
Jesus. Who can forget the "budgeting for a loss" period. Thank god those days are over. I wasn't even that old at the time and even I realised how obscene that was. We wouldn't have had a club today if those days had continued much longer. digger
Isn`t it great to have leaders both on and off the park, happy days.
