The main story was about Rangers offering Barry Ferguson £45,000 per week (in 2002? ) What would that equate to now ? And they wonder why they're in bother ? That would be my guess as well. Certainly 2002 (March most likely). He scored in the first match as well. Trigger scored a few back then too but I don't recall him scoring any great shots. Don't think I've ever seen a ball hit harder from a yard out. He smashed it, just to make sure. His celebration was full of relief and delight.
