Fair play today lads, can't say you didn't deserve to win, but with the way we defended we never really gave ourselves a proper go of it. Hopefully just an off day for us defensively, even though we actually created some really excellent chances. All the best for the rest of the season though, if it's not us then I really hope it's you. Terrific football club with great supporters.

6 is young Blair Alston. As far as I know, that was his first start for us. Number 9 is Carl Finnigan who has been with us for a few years. Doesn't score many goals, but works very hard.

That's Higganbotham. On his day, he can cause an absolute riot in opposition defences. Sadly he's only done that a handfull of times this season.

It was probably George Craig actually that went with the whole bounce game thing. A big publicity stunt, that Pressley called short because the players were sliding everywhere.

If we have learned anything from this, is that our USH won't be turned on for the rest of the season. In the summer, we should rip up the pitch and get new USH in place. Sorry for all of the jags fans who travelled yesterday. I hope the rearranged fixture has halfed ticket prices.

Hello lads. Didn't want to start a new topic, so I'll post this here. For travelling fans on Saturday, some information about the chances of it going on. Basically, snow is now completely gone from the pitch and the USH has been on since Monday. The covers are coming of tomorrow afternoon and going back on in the evening. Our USH is effective down to -8 degrees, so assuming no heavy snow fall we should all have a game to look forward to on Saturday.

Hello again! Really enjoyed my visit to Firhill last night. Would just like to apologise for absoluetly robbing you from a victory. We did not deserve to win. I'm baffled though to why Thistle have made as poor a start as they have. They played some really good stuff at times, quite bizzare really. Anyway, see you all again in October
