  1. Not surprised if this is the case. He sounded as if he'd thrown the towel in in his post match interview at the St. Mirren game.
  2. This is my biggest fear. As a Jags fan of 26 years standing, we are destined to lose this game. PROVE ME WRONG, THISTLE!
  3. The best bit is that the The Rangers fans are so disjointed that they have seperate fans groups/forums more interested in discrediting each other rather than tackling their problems. A complete basket case.
  4. Although I wasn't affected by this it is such a monumental balls up that I'd expect something by way of an apology from the club on the official site, even if only to reiterate the fact that JHS ST's are indeed valid in the NS and to confirm that the stewarding company have been rebriefed on what the Hampden is.
  5. On a slight (negative) tangent, IF (with a capital IF) we were to be the ones to end up in the play offs then I'm glad Dundee now look home and dry in the Championship. Of the ones involved, they're the team I'd rather avoid playing most.
  6. The whole of JH1 was showing unavailable come Thursday afternoon because a batch of tickets (similar in number to the capacity of JH1) had already been printed off for sale from the portacabin, or something. That's what one of the girls in the office told me when I was on the phone to them.
  7. Not sure about the game at Dens but it was definitely pishing down at Inverness. There was a pitch inspection fairly close to kick off.
  8. Definitely was a portacabin in December. Quite a lengthy queue when we arrived about 2.45 and we just made kick off.
  9. Mk I for this club, surely? Surprised at you of all people slipping up, BJ?
  10. Is there any suggestion that we didn't give Baird enough of an opportunity before binning him or more of a case that he's a smart player in the Championship but that's it as far as his level is concerned?
  11. We failed to relegate Killie from the 1st Division when they beat us 1-0 at Firhill on the last day of the 87/88 season.
  12. A play off 2nd leg survival at Firhill on a bank holiday Sunday afternoon would make for a nice wee party. But I'd rather avoid it.
  13. BBC as competent as ever on their website. "The top flight's post-split fixtures have been announced, with St Mirren hosting Partick Thistle in a crucial bottom-six match on 25 April", although at least they have the game the right way round on the actual list of fixtures. Happy with the fixtures.
  14. Add to that that things will become doubly messy when Rangers appear in the top flight as we'd presumably be looking to do the same with them. Potentially 6 home games not on the season ticket.
  15. There will be no league winning going on tonight.
  16. BMMMH was spotted at the Hibs game.
  17. Me too. Got 3 out of 4 on my coupon. Thistle burst it.
  18. The status quo with a game less to go has to be a positive on a day when we have lost.
  19. Many would object, though so it would be a delicate balancing act for the club (see the North Stand fiasco). 1st priority shoud always be satisfying our own support. I'm not a season ticket holder, for the record.
  20. I'm all for the club making money but the vast majority of season ticket holders are in the JHS. Giving that stand away is a complete non starter, IMO.
  21. In fact, cancel that. I forgot they're playing Coonty and Killie!
