Thanks for the info, i'll be getting my tickets tomorrow. There is also a top of the table, ice hockey game at the Braehead Arena on Saturday night as the Braehead Clan play the Belfast Giants. If you've never been to the Hockey before this will be a cracker( i hope you don't mind me posting this)

Just booked boat to come over and watch this game and need some info on away fans seating. Tried searching the forum but can't find it but If I remember correctly did we not sell out the stand the last time we played at NSP? If I buy my tickets through Thistle are they for specific seats or is it a sit anywhere in the away stand ticket? Lady on the phone also said there will be a pay at the gate turnstyle. I don't want to end up arriving at the gate to be told "SOLD OUT"...

When I phoned up for my ticket a couple of weeks ago I was asked did I want standard postal delivery at £3 or recorded delivery at £6, took £3 option and ticket was here in 3 days.

Thanks for this. Was section 7 of the stand, set aside by the club or is this an area of the stand the most people that go into the NS on a weekly basis decided upon. Either way to have the "singing section" this close to that manky mob will create a fantastic atmosphere. Gutted to be at the other end of the stand.

Block M2 Turnstile T13 seat B33, This is what's on mine so I can only assume this is where I'll be sitting. If anyone one here can let me know where about in the main stand this is, I would be grateful.

I know the OP was about season tickets, but my wife phoned the office for me yesterday morning as i was at work. I left her with the simple instruction, get a ticket for the main stand somewhere about the half way line. When she eventually got through, the bloke on the phone said he couldn't guarantee my seat, Does anyone know if tickets being bought are for the Stand in general or will there be a seat and section number on my ticket that i'll have to stick too.

I think it might have been too late. I was on the phone with the club earlier in the day asking about tickets for the Celtic game. The wee lass that answered said that, there was a meeting taking place right now and to check the website later in the week for details.

I would love to be able to say yes, but unfortunately at Xmas there is NO chance of me getting over. I hope there are more than the 4 of you and hope its a success.

I get over for 2 or 3 games a season but I can't ever remember feeling like this for any games i have been too. I don't know if it's because we're back were we belong or just cause we can hurl abuse at the snake for 90 minutes. Maybe it's because i can laugh at all my mates cause their beloved sevco aren't here. I finish work at 0900, my flight is at 1010, early check in at the hotel and get a few hours kip, then hopefully, for what is sure to be one of the most memorable nights i have experienced being a Jag.

Has to be sunday mornings for me. purely for travel reasons. What a brilliant day out. In the 30 odd years i've been following Thistle, i have never experienced anything like that. This was the 1st time my wife and son had been to firhill and they too loved the whole experience. (and will be back). I think the next time i come over i will be staying the night as getting the boat from Belfast at 0730 and back home again at 2330 is too much for this old man lol. After seeing all the videos from the Star and Garter, it was a must for a pre match pint and it didn't dissapoint. A Quick pint in the AS after buying our tickets and then it was off to the back of the North Stand for the party. Topcat, They did try to put the flag up, on the side of the stand, but it was just way too big. i knew what size it was going to be, but to actually see it, it makes me proud that we as nomads are able to have our own we part of firhill. I have a few vidoes and photos, i'll upload them as soon as i figure out how to do it.

Drew Miller, as good as he is, will be played in a different role at the clan than he would be in the NHL. On saturday night i watched the Giants play the Panthers in Belfast and Anthony Stewart(NHLer) wasn't that stand out. They are both 3rd/4th line grinders who both hit like trucks but don't have much in the flair department, but will be an asset to any team in the league. i was over at Braehead for the Giants game on the 8th september, great atmosphere and really family freindly. IMO the clan already have the best player in the league in fat Jade( is a girls name) Galbraith.
