  1. That is impressive, but we had a certain goalkeeper at the time who saved us plenty of times :-) No idea who The Cup is
  2. who's going to own up to watching Eggheads? I'd love to shoot that lot of "brainboxes"!!! The biggest fix on TV.
  3. as much as I loved Campbell & Anderson, we still lost plenty of goals in those days!!
  4. not a great find, it was posted & commented on a while back, maybe last summer
  5. That's the way I remember it

O'Donnell booked, oh no the pessimist in me is getting worried
  8. I see Ross County have taken another player on loan, I think that's the 4th this month plus I'm sure they had others on loan earlier in the season. Obviously we've had a few loanees as well, but does anybody know if there's a limit on how many loan signings can be made in a season?

    Killie Game

hope this isn't a repeat of the last Killie game at Firhill when we should have won easily but couldn't finish them off. C'mon Jags!!!

Boyd must have scored in most games he's played against us, would that be correct?
  14. Thanks for confirming what I thought in the first place
  15. it is, 2 & 1/2 year contract is surprising though, but possibly good news
  16. I saw us win a few times there & especially remember a 4-2 victory there in the mid-70's as I had a few mates at school that supported them. Can't remember much details (as usual) but I think it was near Xmas and Joe Craig (or was it Dougie Somner?) scored a hat-trick
  17. I thought that when I saw the BBC report as well. I thought he was brilliant against us, he was all over the park & seemed to be involved in everything
  18. Where's it confirmed? Question for those that were at the game, did the conditions play a part in the injury?
  19. Aberdeen 0-0 was the one I was thinking of. I'm sure I also remember a night game at Airdrie with floodlight failure, probably late 70's or early 80's not on the list, or is my mind playing tricks???
  20. Could that be a game I recall? Not long after the JH opened I definitely remember a midweek game being abandoned due to a power problem, even though it was still day light at the time of the game being called off. I remember clearly having to exit onto the track & out of the big gate to the left of the JH stand, but can't remember the opponents. It must have been early or more likely late in the season
  21. debated elsewhere on the board a few days ago
  22. El Alagui signed for DU according to bbc
