  1. I hear Toxteth O'Grady is now the bookies' favorite.
  2. That's a mighty fine strip. Not concerned about size of logo, especially if JEL paid more for the bigger size. Also, kudos to Ryan Edwards, who took time off from his side career of lootin' an' plunderin' on the high seas to take part in the launch.
  3. Will be amazing in a future skit where he's representing Broxi Bear in winding up proceedings. Those illegal honey transfers....
  4. Reported in Daily Record (possibly others) that we had a 750k valuation.
  5. If he's under contract, then he's bound to the club for the duration of the contract and the club would have a say in the fees required to pry him away. We valued him at 750k a month or two ago. I don't understand what changed unless he had a specific clause in his contract that anyone offering 350k could come in?
  6. Still disappointed at the fee. They already signed Stevie Mallan from St. Mirren for what appears to be comparable money. And that's on a player untested in the Premiership who wasn't on the team of the year like Liam. I don't know what the performance incentives and sell-on fees are, but looks to be a total fleecing on the surface.
  7. Smart move. Stability is critical to his development at his age.
  8. ET says the current offer was an "improved offer" - if it's 350k, then I'd hate to see what the original offer was.
  9. Sweet, just signed Blair Spittal to a 2 year deal per Twitter!
  10. Until Celtic get their own tax dodging saga and the league becomes a free for all.
  11. Shankland maybe out of contract in a few weeks at Aberdeen. Worth investing in or possibly a loan deal if he re-signs? I mean if he's willing to take a loan deal/stay with Morton on a permanent basis then he's potential affordable right? Or is he too unproven at this level?
  12. If he did go, do you think he'd take any players with him?
  13. Disappointed for sure, but with a top-6 finish, a new training facility coming, and a player getting PFA recognition, it's tough to feel too bad about it. Plus we've generally been competitive against both Celtic and Rangers, which isn't something that always happens. Maybe some personnel changes in the summer will bring in some new faces who can finish clinically and instill the kind of, ummm, testicular fortitude needed to keep these late leads. You could say that's wishful thinking, but then so was everything in the first paragraph.
  14. Are those Thistle cards or just blood/urine stains left over from the Ibrox regulars?
  15. WTG Thistle! WTG Kris Doolan! WTG open bar at a wedding tonight! Someone get the Doolan 200 scarves rolling...
  16. Based on your description, it sounds like Robert never let his condition get in the way of getting the most out of life. That sort of thing is usually down to a special kind of spirit, which is usually instilled in a person by their parents. You should be proud of the life he lived and the job you and your wife did raising him. Condolences to you and your family during this horrible time. Len/ChiThistle
  17. Fantastic result. Hearts didn't look too much like threatening today.
  18. After watching that first half, I now understand why people so frequently post things like, "It could have been 2 or 3".....
  19. Why put this on smaller clubs with little to no history of this kind of behavior? This shouldn't be the default - it should be put upon clubs after they've met a certain threshold/severity level of incidents. And there should be a provision put in place where, if fans of some team decide to have a laugh and go to another team's games, dress in that team's colors, and behave terribly in an effort to get that team penalized, then their true club gets fined double. ETA. The doubling of the fine is to pay the offended club as a curative measure.
  20. Rest in peace Charlie, and all the best to his loved ones and friends.
  21. Daily Record update: "A final polish of the balls and then we're off!" Good to know we start our mornings the same...
  22. Ditto on Jagzone. I only do the PPV option, but the presentation, commentary, and camera work are all very high quality. It feels more like I'm watching a regional TV station than a webcast. Have never had any login issues either - at most some picture freezing which usually sorts itself out on its own or with a refresh. That's understandable given my connection speed and distance. For comparison's sake, I used to get the Fox Soccer Plus station here in the States so I could watch a few games our first season back in the top league. I believe it was basically a bootleg broadcast of Sky Sports or BT Sport.....anyway, Jagzone is of equal or better quality.
