  1. Very much so, and that is exactly what I'll be doing. For those of us who do not have time to get home before the game it is great option.
  2. On the Chic Murray theme Chic goes into a pet shop and asks "Can I have two wasps please?", The shopkeeper says.. "we don't sell wasps" Chic replies,"well you have two in your window"
  3. Gone Hollywood - Supertramp Gone Hollywood
  4. and back again....? Zephyr (the long rectangular style dashboard looked great!)
  5. I'm officially middle aged and a bit thick - though thankfully Douglas did not mention "I know a lassie, a bonnie..." Does that matter to you? I can see why it might not. You might be incredibly young and see it as the nonsense. It is. I'm not answering!
  6. Great pics Jim. Really captured the monsoon during the second half. The boys behind the goals did well too, though was funny to see a few fans joining them at half time, before beating a hasty retreat back to the stand when the monsoon arrived. The bus/car windaes must have be well steamed up when they set off after the final whistle!
  7. The problem with the song is the last line. Although we all know it is just a pop at the bigot brothers, with no sectarian overtones the law may see it differently. As others have have already mentioned, the irony is we could be the easy target. However IMO it would be a pity to drop it altogether as the sentiments remain. If we had to change the line to allow the song to be kept, I'd replace it with: ...so **** the h*ns and **** the tic.
  8. The biggest problem of Friday night football for me would be missing in out on some of the away games, where it would just not be possible. As for home games, not ideal for me either but will give it a try.
  9. Looks like Siege mentality - are you dyslexic? I'm trying to remember the last time we came from two down to get a point. Erskine coming on was the turning point. He has come in for some criticism (justified) for his earlier performances this season, though yesterday he actually looked like he knew what he was doing. We've had a slow start, with arguably our worst performance giving us out only win. A win against Ayr next week could get us up and running. Hutton was nothing brilliant yesterday, though enough to suggest there is a lot better performances to come. The season is not over yet and bit early for the doom and gloom. Oh forgot to add - County do a great 'haggis pie' fabby.
  10. Me thinks you wish to dismiss the concensus of opinion - unless we bow to your pandering of this guy we are all wrong.
  11. Nasty piece of work, pity we got rid of the wrong player after the escapade with Marc Smyth. Only thing he did that really sticks out was the two he scored against Livingston, which was a bit of a novelty as he never scored as many as he should have! No loss to football!
  12. Aberdeen: Willie Miller Airdrie: Drew Jarvie Celtic: Billy McNeill Dundee: Gordon Wallace Dundee Utd: Hamish McAlpine Hearts: John Robertson Hibs: Pat Stanton Motherwell: Willie Pettigrew Morton: Mabawsa Partick This: Alan Rough Rangers: John Greig St Johnstone: Henry Hall Our posts show our ages me thinks!
  13. I thought before the game Erskine would be warming the bench as he has been woeful recently. Flannigan is not the greatest player to pull on a a Jags jersey, though at the same time he is not given credit for the things he does get right. The last couple of games there has been a improvement in effort and signs that he may turn it around. When Erskine came on he looked the brightest he has been this season and was a positive influence. We all know he can be infuriating, but can give us something extra too when it goes right. Not all players are the same and Erskine is definitely different, which is sometimes what is needed when sending on a sub. IMO proved to be a good substitution.
  14. I'd settle for a mystery prize... whatever that may be! It's a ....
  15. BOAB McCulloch - What a character, free kick specialist - second top goalscorer as a full back, unbelievable. Popped up with many a goal when we needed one and a player worthy of a mention here.
  16. \OTT - We all all know that type of performance is not good enough, but let's try and not hit the panic button yet. Your 'get to' comment is both a little offensive and a bit premature! May be a poor start but we are a point better off than we were after 7 games last season.
  17. For once a forum where we all agree - that was one dire game! We got away with one today. A much needed 3 points, after some really scary stuff, particularly at the back. We were awful. Foxy if you tune in here, have a look at last seasons videos you were brilliant, saved our season. You have had a couple of blips in the last couple of games but you are too good a keeper to have a confidence crisis. Good to see you between the sticks and looking forward to seeing some more outstanding performances from you.
  18. Concur - excellent post. "Fans" using the term loosely that support teams just because they are successful just don't get it. Two fabulous moments... add in Rowser's last minute goal last season - hardly a dry eye in the house. I'd rather be part of a club that means something to me than a glory hunter that changes teams when the tide turns. Real fans are those that follow through thick and thin. Time to go to the game and hope for a result - but even if we are tanned 5-0 will still be at Dingwall in a fortnight!
