  1. We've not had the kindest start with our fixtures but not being able to beat Kilmarnock at home was a very poor result. We win that and today's result doesn't have so much significance.
  2. Generally for a club like ours these things are never a good sign. However the accounts for last season showed a loss of only £5000 for 2013/14, so unless the board's financial predictions have gone badly wrong this season you'd assume there is no need for share capital at this time. It could just be to introduce a new shareholder. Some clarity would be good. I largely trust the board to do what's best for the club, but that includes letting the fans know the reasoning behind these decisions.
  3. What, even more obsessed topics about Rangers on a Thistle forum? I will enjoy that
  4. I would say yes to both. The forum is dead and even most of the strongly opinionated supporters are no longer posting. Balatoni's attempted "jump" to clear the ball off the line showed little determination. Personally I have given up on the team. Much like a death row inmate I have made my peace with our relegation and will no longer fight it. I'll wait and see what happens next season.
  5. I assume you have proof to back up such a claim.
  6. I see you've conveniently missed off AA's record. AA's win percentage - 32.9 DC's win percentage - 38.83 Game. Set. Match. You lose. Who's next?
  7. I can assure you that many, many people who are a lot more intelligent than you would strongly disagree. As we are all Thistle fans here I'll give you one chance to say your piece about why AA is better than DC. You better make it good.
  8. It won't happen. The happy clappers are heading up to really cheer on the guys in Dundee. They are going to go ******* mwi mental. They'll make the difference and bring 3 points home.
  9. Absolutely but whether it's Tweeting, trying to get sent off during games or doing other activities on the Christmas night out there is a clear and total lack of respect for the manager. I've worked under terrible managers before and I didn't have any respect for them either. My morale was so low I didn't even care if they fired me. That sounds familiar.....
  10. The players we have now are very good. That's the reason we are 9th. Why are we not higher? The answer is because AA is a complete dud. His inability to organise the team, discipline them and get them match fit has broken down a good squad of players into the complete shambles that has taken to the field recently. If we stay up it will be because of a good effort by the players to turn it around, nothing to do with the manager.
  11. He's right and you're wrong, again. Saturday was far worse than the Gretna games. Gretna had the 3rd biggest wage budget in Scotland in the lower leagues. They beat teams 4-0 and 5-0 regularly. They got to the Scottish Cup final when in the first division, beating SPL teams on the way. They were far better than us on a massive scale. Losing those games was about the same as Celtic beating us 6-0 earlier in the season. Where was your meltdown after that? As for the DC era. AA is probably at the same level of incompetent baboon-ery.
  12. What a shambles. For you own sake you need to stop posting. Saturday was far worse to the Gretna games on a whole other level.
  13. It's been the same arguments because nothing has changed. The super fan "support the team no matter what" chat was far worse than people critiquing the tactical ability of the manager. But we're beyond that stage now anyway. Thankfully the fans are beginning to get come around and see that we have a serious problem. The players have an attitude problem and no amount happy clapping and rallying behind them will sort it out. They clearly don't care. I would have be interesting to read what the above people said when Campbell was in charge. We probably wouldn't been in the Premiership if we backed Dick Campbell's team joyously until they miraculously propelled up the table. He needed sacked and he was. The same signs are here now but the fan boys/girls would rather take relegation than admit they were wrong about AA all along.
  14. And my point is proven in your 2nd sentence. Thank you. You just said that Thistle are historically a lower league team. Your clear agenda is to be defeatist to try and disparage and present the club in a lowly manner in a bid to take pressure off the manager. It's tiresome and it's won't work. Past history has nothing to do with what the ability of this set of players, in this league. Undoubtedly the best players we've had for a number of years. AA might have us in 9th place but that is a complete underachievement with a set of players that could walk into the teams placed 5th and 6th in the league IMO. If we survive it will be a complete relief all round after what has gone on since January.
  15. Interesting. SP speaks highly of us. As far as I know he recommended us to Seabourne when he had other options. Actually scrap that then. I hope he never works again.
  16. I don't have "anti-Archie" agenda. I just don't have a self hating "Thistle, are by definition shite" agenda. Look at it how you want but there were a millions thing Seabourne could have said differently. He made a statement about AA's man management and game plan.
  17. My Archie is the next ALec Fergusson!!!!!!!11!!
  18. So AA is too soft and the players just blatantly defy him then? Lawless is never off Twitter. Balatoni and a few others are on there as well.
  19. Or more plausibly the Hibs players had misplaced belief that they were already safe with their points barrier, and that made them lackadaisical until it was too late. I certainly didn't expect them to finish 11th with almost a 1/3 of the season to go. Seeing that action needs to be take doesn't mean that everyone is panicking.
  20. As clear an indication that DS has no belief or respect in AA as you'll get.
  21. The season can still be salvaged but the board need to act now. On recent form if they wait a few more weeks the other teams will have caught up. It's too late at that point.
  22. Is anyone surprised? If it was any other club AA would have been gone already. We're ran like a lower league outfit.
  23. The whole thing stinks. Who decides if he plays or not? It doesn't look like Seabourne wanted to play yesterday and he let AA know. I would say a number of players, possibly led by the captain don't have any respect for Archibald and will no longer play for him. If that is the case we might as well start preparing for life in the Championship. It doesn't make it any better for the fans when the club's press officer is this guy-
