  1. OK, I was wrong about the ref being invisible. How did he miss the penalty in the first half? Is there a ref's supervisor watching this clown? I bet he is rated as satisfactory. A game ruiner.
  2. It would be nice if we walking out of the ground on Friday, three points to the good, and without even noticing who the ref was. At least he can be consistent for both teams
  3. The Fall and Rise of Swansea City. Should it be Rising as we haven't finished yet though.
  4. Yes. Dan_frank's dad agrees.
  5. Archie said that several players are carrying knocks after last night, so there may be a number of enforced changes anyway.
  6. Ditto Pies were burnt, dry and devoid of meat. If clubs like Killie and Alloa can organise decent scran why can't we? Pull your finger out Maxie
  7. I was watching them train in Pollok Park today - can't wait for Friday.
  8. So is Billy Dodds, and Cillian Sheridan was a car crash in a jumper his granny must have knitted for him at Christmas when her glasses were lost
  9. 1978? A cup semi-final at Hampden. We lost 4-2. The first game I took my son to (and daughter came as well I think), was when we drew 2-2 with Hibs, and Mickey Weir came on as a sub and promptly got sent off. The boy was sold on Thistle from that day.
  10. According to the ET today, a new signing will be unveiled this afternoon (not John Baird).
  11. A brilliant kit design. Ours should be like it.
  12. Dunfermline were poor today, and Alloa looked more than capable of holding their own in Div 1. Where do the Pars go from here? A play-off place next season at best?
  13. And what about Mary from Maryhill? Sexist offensive sh*te
  14. The Ukrainian played the first half against Alloa, was abismal and got hooked by Campbell, never played again. We lost 2-1 and I've never been so cold at a football match
  15. BBC Scottish football Gossip site said that Hibs were looking at Doolan.
  16. Get used to the clown, we'll be seeing more of him next season
  17. Why didn't the ref stop the game?
  18. Society gets the police and laws it deserves. We have laws dealing with violent conduct, drinking in public, sectarianism. So, it is up to the police to enforce these laws for the benefit of society and not just a few "peepul" with persecution complexes. Hillsborough is what happens when laws are not enforced by consistent policing, and the resulting cover-up and blaming of innocent fans was not an edifying experience.
  19. The police are there to protect society, enforce laws and prevent the situations witnessed from escalating. Their senior officers have to take responsibility which is why i asked about their report of the game and policing decisions being made available. Remember Hillsborough and the police cover-up/collusion? It took more than 20 years for the truth to begin to come out.
  20. Given the behaviour of the fans inside the ground as well as before the game I would like Strathclyde police to comment on the number of arrests both inside and outside the stadium for public order offences including drinking in public or being drunk in a football stadium, higher tariff arrests for threatening behaviour, assault, criminal damage or why the match commander decided not to use the full powers at his/her disposal to prevent or deal with these. Given the tendency of the police to pick easy targets and bottle making big decisions, it would be interesting to hear them justify their action/inaction.
  21. Did you notice that one photograph had a German anti-fascist symbol? Oh, the irony.
  22. Judging from Archie's comments about Paton and Erskine, and his rapid action in freeing SOJ, I have a feeling he can be as ruthless and hard-edged as other successful managers. Long may it continue.
  23. To their credit, The Herald had a very funny cartoon in their centre page yesterday featuring Celtic, Thistle, and Sevco raising their respective cups, together with a p*ssed-off panda after getting a knock-back.
  24. Who is organising the bucket collection for them at Falkirk?
  25. According to the papers he's looking to leave'Boro.
