From where I was sitting (on couch watching BBC Alba) it was a stonewall penalty. Overall a draw was the correct result. Our goal was a thing of extreme beauty.

Watched game on Sky at a mate's house. Commentary was unbelievable. Took them 10 mins to even name a Thistle player. I went home after an hour as I could not bear to watch any more. Thistle were totally outclassed from the start. And the cynical foul on Erskine after 30 mins at least merited a yellow.

Only 7 months to go until the final and these things need to be organised well in advance.

I haven't managed to get to any games this season - hoping to rectify soon - but read the forum with interest after each game. Most games seem to follow the same pattern. We do well in the first half. Opposition reorganise at half time and come at us in second half.

My Falkirk supporting cronies reckon he is an excellent player, whom they were sorry to lose.

I was sitting in a very quiet Main Stand (Falkirk Section) courtesy of a Season Ticket holder with spare tickets. From where I was sitting I thought Thistle dominated the game from start to finish. Chris Erskine's goal was SUBLIME .... who said he would not try any more???

4 nil up against Dunfermline away after half an hour. Ball was then passed from Defender to Defender for about 5 mins without a Dunfermline player getting near the ball. To the sound of "We're Partick Thistle. We're taking the piss" And the fans streaming across to the North Stand before the Morton game. Both very enjoyable and emotional moments.

My partner and I bought 3 tickets over phone on Tuesday. Money still not debited from account. No tickets received in post yet. Fingers crossed!

I have enjoyed reading the stories here. My Dad was a Saints fan who took me to Muirton Park in the 1960s. One of the players there was a certain John Lambie who was well thought of. At the time we stayed in Greenock and like most in my primary school class I supported Morton. When we moved to Bearsden at the end of the 1960s I went along to Firhill with my next door neighbour. Thistle were seen as the local team by many in that area at the time. 1 of his pals from school started going as well and the 3 of us are still regular attenders.

Not my recollection. Sometimes I think there is a bit of an OF mentality on this forum. "Lets hope all the teams we don't like go out of business so we can play the ones we like every week"

The report in the Sunday Herald this week was one sentence long. To think it used to be called the "Glasgow" Herald. I also deplore the new format.
