Something I have been saying for years. We have one of the biggest boards of millionaires at our level of Scottish Football. Time for Cowan, Hughes, Bannerman, Allan, Beattie, Gilfillian etc to stand up. Invest in the side?? Eh no chance, dont you know there is a recession on?? Pay a pittance to buy a bit of property at Firhill...oh yes thats a good idea, we can throw in a million for that bit of action!!! The club stinks from top top bottom!!

Exactly. Must have the oldest central defender playing international football. McGregor, McCulloch and Boyd should never have been picked again. Only pass marks go to Morrison and Robson. Frankly the Chairman is beyond belief and while no one can condone the alleged event there is a hell of a lot more going on at Firhell to be totally disgusted at!!! Cowan out!!!!!

If you dont ask, you dont get. One things for sure, unless we get a striker in by Tuesday, the play offs is the best we can expect this season, in fact seeing the state the club is in at every level, I would probably accept that right now

Given that we have been told that McCall is big mates with Coyle and Moyes surely one of these clubs have some promising up and coming young strikers that would benefit from a season in Scottish 1st Div football. We give them the experience and the EPL club still pay their wages or Bannerman, Beattie or Allan pick up the tab. One way or another we need a striker in badly or Div 2 football is looming

Given the financial state of the club, the last thing the board will want is to start banning supporters!!!

The club is at crisis point and unless change takes place at boardroom level and quickly the club is doomed. Beattie, Allan and Bannerman need to provide money right now for McCall to get a striker in before Tuesday as Buchanan, Grehan, Donnelly and Doolan will be lucky to get 10 goals this season in total. Failure to do so, will almost certainly mean relegation or play offs

The only two worth keeping appear to be Beattie and Allan. Bannerman has been a big disappointment to me. Everybody knows he is a jagsman but just what has he done since he came to the club. He paid the going rate for his shares but appears to have done bugger all since. We need him, Beattie and Allan to do what other club directors do....dip into their pockets! As for Cowan and Hughes, they have outlived their stay by about 6 years. Time for change

Agreed, it is a bizarre quote, unless he has started going down the alleged Dickie Campbell road of training....leaving at 11.30 in the morning and come to think of it I have been in the Hills at Sauchiehall St at dinner time on a few occassios and Mr McCall has been playing the puggies!!! Mmmm

I think he has made loadsa errors but we must not lose sight of the fact that he has been allowed to bring in ONE player and ONE loanee from last years squad given that Halliwell, Hinchcliffe, Donnelly, McNamara and Maxwell were at the club at the end of the season. Yes it was his decision to resign them, but that obviously means that the board forced his hands to free everyone at the end of their contracts. We are on the road to oblivion until some of these board members move out.

The option you have missed is...the majority of the BOD feck off. Cowan, Hughes, Prentice, Bannerman can all go now. We are still one of the best supported teams in the league, probably pay the lowest wages of the full time teams,yet there is no investment made on the playing side. Christ look at Raith. Do they get bigger crowds than us...No, but they have directors that are willing to put their hands in their pockets We have a chairman and a director that took charge after the STJ senario and promised the club would never get into that state again. Well Mr Cowan and Hughes, the club is in a worse state now. Time to move on and take your partners Prentice and Bannerman with you. The only guys that appear to be willing to put their hands in their pockets are Beattie and Allan, so they are the only two I would keep. The club needs a clear out from top to bottom....NOW!!!! Todays results proves beyond doubt that we are relegation material

Totally agree. The problem is at board level. Cowan,Hughes,Prentice and to a slightly lesser extent Bannerman can go now. Out of the current board I would keep Beattie and Allan and try and get them to try and interest other potential investers

Think thats a valid point. If we lose the first goal, for me, we are as well going home. Score the first goal and I am pretty confident we will at least get a draw. Today was pathetic. Liam Buchanan has lost it for me and we desperately need another striker before the window closes.
