I don't care who DP and LSR really are they seem to know what's going on and that's fine by me. As a very occasional poster but regular reader on here kni's posts intrigue me. I wonder what his/her occupation is, retired circus performer/rodeo rider I think not maybe an accountant or a librarian? What does everyone else think? Trivia I know but i think we should be told

Sometimes in the Fintry Sports Club we've had 6 or 7 Jags fans chewing over the latest performance.

Thought Gabriel was excellent. "Centre back controls ball on chest shock". It's probably the most difficult position to adjust to coming from somewhere like Spain to here. Loved it when he whistled asking for the ball. Different player to Balatoni - could he replace him? Not sure about Forbes the play slowed right down when he has the ball and I think we're at our best playing at high tempo.

It's not a key game it's the next game. We can't be obsessed with how many points we are ahead of Hearts

I really don't understand why people come on here and make a judgement about whether a trialist would be worth signing on the basis of one friendly. Give your view about how they played in the game by all means but unless the guy is a Long John Silver impersonator surely he needs another chance?

Some of the elder fan base clearly find it difficult to come to terms with our current playing style. Two jookers behind me: First Livi attack - "oh here's a goal coming" Jags interpassing along the back line - "get it up the park" Hey if Livi don't have the ball they can't score. Long Jags pass forward as soon as it leaves the boot - "what a terrible ball" then changed to "great pass"when it finds the right man. The followed by a " Do you remember Sammy Rutherford, Benny Rooney etc. Bit my tongue on several occasions but hopefully they are becoming the minority. Endorse everyone'e positive comments about the team and players. I now only check the time every two minutes after 4.30 and when I'm watching Barcelona I'm thinking they play like Thistle.

Agree entirely TL. If his effort had gone in I believe it would have been a different game. The pitch is a nightmare though
