    Deadline is one minute before kick off. In the case of the first game, 2.59pm on Saturday. New players can join any time before the deadline. Receipt of payment and prediction post must both be timed 2.59 at latest. It's a 'warm glow, Jags out of playoff place' type of Sunday. Perfect time to sign up for this competition. Just three more players will mean we will be sponsoring a fourteenth top.

    I don't go to the North Stand because I don't want to stand and sing. I'm afraid that I am more sedentary than when I was younger. The North Stand is great, remember the atmosphere before the NS? I'm not going to criticise people for not singing much on a freezing cold afternoon.

    I'm sure I heard today that the English Premiership has announced that La Marsellaise would be played before all matches this weekend. Don't know if they can either but I think it's the sort of thing the authorities should be deciding on, having taken views from member clubs.
