  1. I'm not convinced that basic is better norgethistle, that was the days before healthy eating had been discovered and nobody had figured out why the whole of Scotland had heart disease yet. Unfortunatley although the range of butter, ground animal genitalia and chocolate has been widened we still seem to be stuck with only artery clogging junk. I bet McNamara would go spare if he found any of the players eating what's on offer to the fans. Getting the tellys back on would be a start too, the food's certainly not worth missing 10 minutes of something you've paid £17 to watch.
  2. Thanks for clearing that up guys. That's an excellent article.
  3. Forgive me for not knowing the ins and outs of Firhill ownership but is it just the bing that the club doesn't own or the whole stadium or certain parts? And if they do own just the bing then assuming it's not too near the pitch could the club not put some advertising up just within the border of the land that is owned by the club?
  4. Yeah, Adidas or Nike would be great. Really like what Nike have done with the Old Firm tops, minimising the size of the main sponsorship, and I thought the Adidas away kit Livi wore at Firhill a few weeks ago was very professional looking.
  5. Who do you think it’ll be? Bukta? Admiral? Matchwinner?
  6. It was a website called nhb-battle.com. It was a homoerotoc wrestling website of men wrestling each other in their speedos and making soft porn groaning noises. He was in it. I swear I only watched it to laugh at him. It was dead funny. This was before he was a convicted peado and we just thought he was a f*nny.
  7. If you want to go to heaven when you die You must wear a Thistle scarf and Thistle tie You must wear a Thistle bonnet With follow Thistle on facebook on it If you want to go to heaven when you die
  8. Now he's explained it, getting the tracky top cheap in the Greaves sale and having his initials printed on it before he's even started shows excellent forward thinking and initiative. Maybe we should give him the job after all.
  9. The point is this shouldn't have been designed by novices, the SFA I assume paid good money to someone to put this together but several people on here alone are having a problem with it. I emailed the SFA highlighting my issue with the survey, you basically have a question that many people will find unanswerable and no option to skip it so you either make up a meaningless response which skews the results or don't complete the survey. If it gets fixed I'll go back in and complete the survey.
  10. I chucked it at the exact same point. Showed it to several football fans, none of them knew what it was about. Those complete numbskulls can't even organise a survey let alone our national sport.
  11. Yeah, I went to get a coffee and a mars bar 5 minutes before half time and was directed to a massive queue beside a fuzzy telly so didn't bother. On the plus side though I saved a couple of quid and didn't have to force down a rubbish instant coffee and long life milk. So much for fresh ingredients.
  12. Like I say I only saw him briefly so may have been mistaken about him being skinnier but he was wearing a red thistle tracky top and I thought 'Was that Jim Brown the convicted s*x offender who's also a personal trainer?'. Then a guy wearing a red thistle tracky top that looked like Jim Brown the convicted s*x offender told people he was called Jim Brown was a personal trainer and was training Thistle players, the same story that Jim Brown the convicted s*x offender was peddling at Motherwell a few years back. Either it's a MASSIVE coincidence or it was Jim Brown the convicted s*x offender who's also a personal trainer.
  13. I doubt very much he’s involved with training at the club as he was known for telling tall stories to impress people and was apparently saying the same thing to people at Motherwell FC a few years ago but I’ve emailed the club just in case to warn them. I’ve never actually met him, just seen a couple of youtube videos and photos from his wrestling days and it looked like he's lost some bulk since then. He only walked past me briefly outside the stadium so I didn’t want to start screaming “BURN THE PAEDO!, BURN THE PAEDO!” in case it was just some poor guy that looked like him.
  14. It's not this Jim Brown is it?............ http://www.dailyreco...ert-who-1082316 You know I thought I saw him at Firhill a few weeks ago and then thought, no it can't be him. If it is him he's well known in the Scottish MMA and wrestling scenes for being a serial bullsh*tter, a pervert and a convicted s*x offender/paedo. Edit: Here's another one with a clearer photo..... http://www.stuff.co....from-paedophile
  15. I wouldn't have a problem with the club selling stand or stadium naming rights.
  16. Some more pics here.......... http://www.snspix.com/24_11_12_partick_thistle_v_livingston/photo/90718.html?pn=2&so=1&sci=1353798332&gid=90718
  17. Forbes has been steadily improving since the start of the season and I'm glad he's signed up but the recent level of praise he's been receiving since the Dunfermline game has been a bit OTT at times. It's a good positive staement of intent though from the club and it will be excellent if we can follow it up with a similar deal for Craig.
  18. Adherence to 4 Old Firm games a season is going to prevent any meaningful change, instead of what everybody knows is the answer i.e. the same structure used in every major league in europe that has worked perfectly well for over a century we get stupidity with everbody playing each other 4 times a season and when that doesn't work we follow it with more stupidity with the SPL splitting 3/4 of the way through the season and now that hasn't worked they suggest even more stupidity with leagues now splitting and merging halfway through the season. Other countries will be looking at us and laughing.
  19. Paton looked like he started to have a wee kick out after being pulled down shortly after our first goal against Dunfermline and if the ref had seen it he could have been sent off then. On the park he comes accross as one of these players that's fuelled by a little bit of anger, no bad thing if it gives him that extra drive that's been seeing him play so well this season but he needs to be sure he keeps it under control. I wasn't there last night and haven't seen the incident but the fact that it came as no surprise whatsoever is the worrying thing.
  20. Considering we are steamrollering the very same teams at Firhill it's frustrating that we're not picking up more points away from home. I wouldn't say 8 points from 18 away is crap as we have had a hard run of games however I wouldn't say it was chamiponship winning form either and we can't rely on keeping a 100% record at home all season so it really needs to improve. I think/hope Raith should be good for a point today against Dunfermline though and we're still top of the league so it's not all doom and gloom.
  21. Can we not jus make them all 16 team leagues and invite teams to apply for 6 extra places. If it's not happening until 2015/16 then there's plenty of time to go through an application process and plenty of highland/junior teams are well supported enough and have shown a willingness in the past to become part of the senior set-up (Spartans, Cove, Gala etc.).
  22. All the best leagues in the world are run on a nice simple have a big league of teams playing each other twice a season. I don't know what makes the morons running the Scottish game think that d*cking around with madcap ideas is the way forward instead of reverting to a tried and tested formula.
  23. It'll be sold on the basis that it will increase lower league attendances but no one really wants this outside of the OF. How long before these f*cknuts realise that some things are more important than money as was proven twice in the summer when they tried to shoehorn Sevco back in where they didn't belong. I know they have colt teams in Spain but if we're aiming to reduce the problem of two teams winning everything then that's hardly a good example to emulate. The Highland teams have proven to be pretty successful additions to the structure so no need to change the current applications systemif we need some new blood.
  24. Article here..... http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/20302632 A bit confused as to why you'd have two relatively big leagues with teams playing each other twice a season with a 10 team league in the middle presumably sticking to the current 4 times a season format?
  25. My comments were based on the half season tickets being aimed at the pay at the gate regulars to get their money up front so it can be used to extend contracts in the New Year. If it’s new customers we’re talking about then correct, an announcement wouldn’t work and pamphleting in the city or newspaper ads might be a goer. However the comment I was responding to suggested paying for pamphlets and handing them out to pay at the gate customers on their way in to the matches and I thought that an announcement which costs nothing would be more cost effective.
