Has to be remembered that Doolan, Erskine and Cerny all have young families to support. They have to put them first. Three guys that have given everything to the club but could easily be away.

It has been a dreadful season, the seeds of which were clearly sewn last season, despite our top six finish. I will frankly be delighted to see the back of some of those players we unfortunately had to endure. Abdul Osman- potentially the worst club captain in the football league, a total disgrace.

Just watched the highlights, what a total and utter mess. All of the goals preventable and it looked like a lack of desire throughout the 90 minutes. The fact that Osman continues to start, let alone be our so called captain is a joke. The guy will be playing National League North next season if he is lucky. I have to question this best squad in forty years nonsense. Reflecting back on last season is anyone surprised by this one? For most of the season, apart from a good spell in February and March we were dreadful. The results post split should have been a wake up call to majorly refresh the team but sadly we have kept with the same players while the teams around us have upgraded. I would let Archibald see it out and then change it for next season whatever happens.

Adam Barton- A complete class above the rest of our team, superb player. Apart from him we had no composure or creativity whatsoever.

Yesterday summed up how piss poor we have been this season. At this moment in time I am totally ambivalent about whether we go down or not, the team badly needs freshened up no matter what happens. Guys like Osman, Dumbuya and Erskine are done in my opinion. Next two games are massive because our four game after these don't look good on paper.

We need to get Barton back in as sweeper as soon as possible. Not a fan of the criticism he has had this year. Yes,he gets caught on the ball too often but he is the only player in the team who actually tries to get on the ball and play a decent pass. Maybe try Woods and Fraser together in the centre? (fitness undoubtedly an issue). We look so utterly devoid of confidence in the final third and the next four games are massive so not overly confident.

I know injuries forced it but I never want to see Barton as a central defender in a flat back 4 ever again. He is not suited to it at all.

I think we should look for £750,000 at a minimum

Cerny had no right to make that save. To get down so low and to claw it away was simply world class.

I hope Archibald will be presenting Christie Elliot with a new contract on Monday morning. He was outstanding today!

Agree about Devine, looks a totally different player and was outstanding yet again. Keown is also turning into a very shrewd signing, another extremely accomplished performance. I'm still of the belief that Barton is far better at the back but it was good to see him get on to the end of a lot of Cerny's goal kicks. An excellent couple of weeks.

The sooner we get back to 352 with Barton at the centre of the back three the better. Thought we did ok first half with Clark making two excellent saves. The goal was a disaster from Booth and really it was the only way Saints were going to score. Second half was an absolute disgrace, guys like Erskine, Lawless and Doolan were so bad it was beyond belief. Looked a stonewall penalty, no wonder the boy was raging.

I have it from someone in the know that Dobbie is on £2000 a week at queens (a grand each from two directors) so he is well out of our price range.

You could easily argue that Osman shouldn't be in the team on current form. Barton must still be carrying a knock.

Fair enough. I just find this concept of supporters taking a moral high ground absolutely contemptible. As you rightly say the majority of this seems to be between Rangers and Celtic fans.

We were a total disgrace in the first half yet could easily have been ahead. Azeez is chronic in front of goal and he also causes us to constantly play balls over the top, more often than not this leads to him being offside and possession lost. Far better in the second half and only a poor decision from the linesman cost us victory. Thought Edwards, Elliot and Barton were good and Booth was superb. Hamilton are a dreadful team who play horrendous football.

To be fair the ref also helped us out by denying an absolute stonewaller of a penalty to County. The turnaround in Scully has been one of the most positive things this season.

First time I've seen Barton play and thought he was superb, reminded me a lot of Scott Paterson and was very good in the air. The back five (up until the injury) were very good, Devine was far better than he has been. Midfield also did well although it was clear to see that Erskine would have had a field day in the first half. Biggest concern was the front two. Azeez causes problems but does not threaten the goal,he also seems to fade from games after half an hour. Thought Doolan was woeful today, did absolutely nothing. Sadly you could see the goal for County coming a mile away as we always just seem to sit deeper and deeper and invite problems.Only a superb save from Scully saved us a point, he has improved massively. Dundee is a massive game on Wednesday considering the fixture run we have after it.
