  1. Very impressed again by Thomas Horn, and hope that he continues to be given game time. He really gets himself involved, and if not scoring or assisting himself, he is occupying the defence and creating space for others.
  2. Apologies AJ. No harm intended. An attempt at humour that failed. Story of my life! Good to see you in post on the TV screen. You must have had a fantastic view of Lee Ashcroft’s goal. In fact for a moment I thought that you had nodded it in yourself!
  3. Brilliant 2nd goal from Tony Watt gives us a bit of hope and optimism.
  4. Too slow all round and too many heavy touches going backwards to kill momentum. The odd bright spell of quick movement and forward passing but never sustained. Hopefully Wilson and Rae will have words of wisdom and second half will be better.
  5. Turgid first half. Thankfully Lee Ashcroft pops up with headed goal from Chalmers free kick just before half time
  6. Bright sunshine here on the Isle of Skye. Will be watching the livestream closely to check whether @Auld Jag is hiding a pint glass under the balaclava.
  7. Happy Birthday Phil. I hope you receive all the bonus points going!
  8. Stranraer draw with Ross County and take the bonus point in the shoot out. 2 takeaways: 1) Stranraer on Tuesday may be tougher than we might have expected. 2) Win our next 2 games and a draw in Dingwall would be enough to top the group.
  9. I agree that yet another absence is concerning, especially when the previously expressed management view was that Dan was very close to a return at the end of last season, and with the benefit of pre season would come out flying this season and be like a new signing.
  10. Family members at the game were pleased with the Thistle performance with particular praise for Stanway, Logan and Chalmers. Watt looked good, but not surprisingly rather off the pace. Hopefully that fitness deficit can be made up fairly quickly. The second half was rather dull. Thistle had some good moments and Mackenzie did well, but in general Edinburgh City tightened up and closed the game down.
  11. Those at the game will comment better, but when JagZone sound was on, the commentators were complimentary about the Crawford/Stanway combination.
  12. Sound gone on JagZone. Any update on 4-1?
