  1. Family members at the game were pleased with the Thistle performance with particular praise for Stanway, Logan and Chalmers. Watt looked good, but not surprisingly rather off the pace. Hopefully that fitness deficit can be made up fairly quickly. The second half was rather dull. Thistle had some good moments and Mackenzie did well, but in general Edinburgh City tightened up and closed the game down.
  2. Those at the game will comment better, but when JagZone sound was on, the commentators were complimentary about the Crawford/Stanway combination.
  3. Sound gone on JagZone. Any update on 4-1?
  4. I am sure that Thistle have never before been 4-0 up in a League Cup game and lost a goal to make it 4-1.
  5. 4-0 Chalmers Looks like our players know the route to goal.
  6. 3-0 thanks to OG. Sounds like Miles Hogarth 25 years ago.
  7. Robbie Crawford scores a back heeler. The world has changed!
  8. Cammy Logan assisted by Stevie Lawless.
  9. Two throat clearances by Michael Max and one goal by Thistle already!
  10. There is a button to click in JagZone for audio commentary, but I am not hearing any sound. Is anybody else experiencing the same or are others hearing the commentary? If the latter, any tips as to what to do?
  11. Three strong signings today can maybe help to revise the above narrative.
  12. I will also be glad to lob £20 into the pot. Please disqualify me from the prize draw as I was fortunate enough to win last time.
  13. I am not really qualified to comment, as a pre-game alcoholic drink is not part of my standard matchday experience, but I cannot see the attraction of this for those who do like a drink before the game. Would you not prefer to stay in the Woodie or Munns or even the Aitken Suite or wherever, in a comfortable and convivial atmosphere, until (say) half an hour before kick off and then wander along to the game. What is the incentive to enter the ground at least an hour before kick off to stand and have a drink out of sight of the pitch and then hang around until the match begins? Maybe I am missing something here and remain to be enlightened.
  14. I see that we have an alcohol licence for the 2 League Cup home games. @Auld Jag will be first in the queue!
