  1. U forgot the word 'mediocrity' there
  2. I'm looking up not down. There's at least 5 teams we're better than. How Hibs are where they are is beyond me.
  3. Are we being charge full price for those restricted view seats? I hope not when away fans have the option of a cheaper seat for restricted view.
  4. For me the best has been 3-1 v Celtic at Hampden, St Mirren 3-1 at Love Street and 5-2 v Hearts at Tynecastle. Worst. Tannadice and ensuing worry.
  5. Plus however many Coventry fans were on the hill watching outside.
  6. Why? The celticfans will enter and leave the JHS at the north end, behind the stand and student flats. Inside the ground segregation is not much better as it is and the fire risk argument is garbage.
  7. Btw, how does a machine know whether you're U16 or not? What's to stop an adult gaining entry using an U16 ST?
  8. In a similar boat except the kids aren't coming. We have four kids seats reserved on the JHS but could not be allocated them coz the club can't print off a ticket for those seats as they are for U16 season ticket holders. So seems like all U16 ST holders who can't be at the game will mean an empty seat for each of them. Doesn't help your dilemma any so for clarity I'd say but a ticket but sit in her seat rather than the one you get allocated.
  9. His family will be there on Monday too. Such tragic news, Scott was indeed Thistle daft. The thistle family is weaker today

So won't have increased expenditure on wages or increased income now we're in the 'Premiership'!

I guess it will depend on how much of the debt has been paid whether it's been a cracker or not. Breaking even is the minimum I expect from the club, if turnover is also up significantly then good. We won't make any profit IMO while we owe the bank and other creditors.
  12. Even tho it has nothing to do with Fellow Jags Fans. Ooooh, that's gota be embarrassing As long as it ain't just a bunch of 'west end luvvie' types I see no problem with it.
  13. I know facilities aren't the main issue here and I'm glad the problem appears to have been sorted from les' point of view. However didn't the JT have money for a lift or something in the JHS? What happened to that?
  14. Went with the kids on Saturday for the first time this season (aye, I took the blame for the performance) and we all got in the same turnstyle. Kids are 8 by ra way.
  15. I think the 'newer' stewards are a bit drunk on the power that a high viz jacket brings. I'm sorry a fellow Jag has been treated so badly, especially after all the effort you go thru to get to firhill Les. On the flip side, was treated so well by Brian who went out his way to make it clear to me of the support available to me should I need it in my first game back after serious brain surgery. So a thanks goes out to him. The problem(s) you highlight will persist if the disabled access is not improved at Firhill. A problem that Thistle have faced for a number of years. Simple respect and politeness tho is something stewards need to adopt towards customers. It costs nothing and, especially at Firhill, we ain't a bunch of hooligans. Hope you get treated better in the future Les.
  16. Summed up by my 8 year old son and non-football literate wife. Son says "that's the worst game I've seen" wife says "why is no one in a good position when the crosses come in?". My take on it? We were shaky at the back, toothless upfront and the dons were on to us from the first whistle. We left with 25 minutes to play (due to health reasons, not the Thistle performance) but was pleasing to see us persevere with the passing game even at 2-0 down. Piccolo had a stinker! Lessons learned today hopefully. Bring on the tractor drivers!
  17. Likewise, we are meant to believe The Rangers is the same club as Rangers because The Rangers people, and only The Rangers people, say they are? You're argument works both ways. Nothing to do with hated, all to do with common sense, a trait many (not all) The Rangers fans are lacking in. But keep on with your 'hatred' mantra, it's quite funny given the lyrics of one of the club that died's songs
  18. Wasn't because alcohol was being sold on the premises, was because carry outs where allowed in. Those bringing carry outs to the game were already pished and mixed with Neanderthal auld firm mentality it became a poisonous cocktail during a cup final in the late 80's. Many points do I get?
  19. Exactly. Btw, not been this season yet, are away fans no longer allocated a section of the JHS?
