  1. Don't go. Keep your money and your 100% records, be a shame to lose them all.
  2. Very valid points there twinny, in particular the bit I have bolded. Many clear examples here of the board exercising lack of thought and forward-planning and not giving fans the full picture of what various packages and associated prices are to be on "offer" (or "demanded" if we wish to look at these from a slightly different perspective) in the coming season, to allow each individual Jags supporter make clear and well considered decisions relative to value-for-money and what suits their financial circumstances best. Yet again, another example of how badly the information stream from Firhill operates, one ballsup after another with our Board. I despair, things could be so much better being a Jags supporter, but it seems our Directors are incapable of getting the Basics right, let alone the nitty-gritty of running our club professionaly and competently. I so want to be a happy-clappy Jag, but while we as fans continue to let ourselves be treated like smelly brown poo, and these charlatan excuses of directors know they can get away with dropping more and more of the smelly brown poo on us, things will never change, and this great club will carry on it's downward spiral of diminishing fanbase, atmosphere, capita per head revenue generated from those who do attend games. So many things wrong within the walls of Firhill, and until there is a complete overhaul of how the club is run and of those who "run" it, sadly this situation will never change (well, unless they drive us totally to the wall, and that, is entirely possible under this incompetent, self-serving, oxygen-stealing waste-of-space Board). As for the actual pay-at-the-gate increase - unless Thistle have a stormer of a season, I can foresee this blowing up spectacularily in the faces of our board, and PATG will suffer an even bigger horrendous drop than in did in the second half of the last season. No brains they have, has our "glorious leaders".
  3. Crazy Davie you are called, for good reason you are.

  8. Bring back Tony Blair I say !!! (Where's the 'Insert head in noose with mad as a hatter screwy face' emoticon ??? )
  9. The Paisley club will likely be sold in the coming weeks, the rumour is. The resignation of the director, as well as Gus, could conceivably be part of the 'clearing of the decks' (possibly even part of the conditions to be met to ensure the deal goes through) before the new owners come in, and thus allowing them to appoint their own manager, it would.

Where does one find such crisps of the gods ?
  12. When I was younger, I was the spitting image of Frank McAvennie.
  13. I found the top 100 singles midweek chart placings last Thursday & couldn't see it in there. I then thought maybe Big Welshy was meaning the Scottish charts and not the UKwide charts? But, if so, it's not in their Top 40 either
  14. At an end Grady's rule is... and not long enough it was. Into exile he must go. Failed, he has.
  15. Or, to put another 'spin' on it: The FACT is, in the last 100 years there has NEVER been one period when there was a majority of those who actually voted in UK elections was prepared to trust Labour in power - never once has Labour had 50% or above in the electorate backing them. The FACT is, looking at a graph of voting percentages over the last century (go to Page 8, Share of the Vote graph), the Tories have achieved 50% or more of the electorate backing in a couple of periods. More importantly it would seem that even when Labour do edge ahead of the Tories in elections it's usually only relatively small margins in the main (1997 being the ONLY election where Labour had a 10% or greater winning margin), while over the last century the Tories are more often than not on top and when they are, their lead ranges from small winning margins to quite huge ones (15, 20, and even up to 30% difference in terms of share of vote). For clarity, I am not a Tory (Grand Master of Jedi Order am I), nor a Labour basher. But I do think some form of electoral reform and PR is coming to the UK in the next 1 to 3 elections, and that will forever change the face of British politics and government. May the force be with you all.
  16. Third time unlucky for Airdrie, for them, no escape route this time there is
  17. Left us to play 'at a higher level' (SPL etc), Twaddle and Harkins did.......Twaddle's mob gets pumped back down to SFL1 while Harkins loadsamoney mob fkd it up and are still in SFL1 Karma At last, we are rid of Airdrie, papped down to SFL2, and before time, it is not. Hope Danny Lennon's Blue Brazil now beat Brechin in the playoff final - great result for them today, after Alloa had held the upperhand over them all season. Only downside to today's results was when arriving at Muirieston just as the final whistle on radio sounded for Tractor Boys v Bairns - gutted I was at Tractor Boys escaping the drop, as I really really wanted them them to come on down. Still, the performance of the Under19's soon cheered me up
  18. Just in. Great result and performance from the young Jags. To pick out a few comments from others: Indeed. The second half in particular was back-to-the-wall at times, but as good a side as Livi were, they found themselves up against a Jags eleven who were full of energy and pride and who deserved to triumph in the end. Poor show from both players and 'fans' of Livi at the end right enough. Scully was very impressive today, some great full-length diving saves, and certainly deserves a chance next season with the first team - as do a good number of the players who played (in the pink and grey). Some of the comments and attitudes of Livi fans both during the game and especially after it were laughable and marks of very poor losers and on todays evidence Livingston fans must have an IQ level extremely close to OF fans, and thats saying something.

  20. McCall, Cowan or the ET article writer? (To answer that, there is no need, to get anyone into trouble, my wish it is not )
