If Baird has only started two spl games and 1 he was good in and the Aberdeen game he was poor as were the full team. What's the difference between both Aberdeen games??? Surely it's not the strikers as both got isolated. Monday night tells you more than just the game. Nothing has been changed or learned from the first Aberdeen game eight weeks ago were Baird got hanged out to dry same happened to Doolan on Monday. Baird hasn't played enough to be judged fairly. Only one goal has came from the middle of the park there is 4 players in that midfield who have not so much as been in the right position to score and in my opinion that is were we really have to shape up quickly or face dropping down the league.

Would like to see archie put 2 up front doolan and baird and bring kerr into midfield even if its just to give the players who get subbed a kick up the behind. I know the team that got us promoted deserve some loyalty but when it is detrimental to the club then changes have to be made

So when we are too defensive Doolan has been left stranded but when Baird is in he is in no mans land and is branded useless

We are only playing with one upfront if that's not parking the bus I don't know what is, It's all fine and dandy playing good football but look were that has got St mirren the last few seasons? I think we need two up front because neither Baird or Doolan are suited to play the loan striker role. Also the midfield need to start chipping in with goals too

We need big changes at the weekend.. Bannigan and Welsh need to sit it out they have totally lost their confidence and need a spell on the bench. We are lucky at the moment that St Mirren Killie and Hearts are so bad but we are only about another 2 or 3 losses away from our season looking real bad. Must win on Saturday to kick us on

Would also like to see Kerr in the team bags of spl experience. Time to get real the nice football may go but I believe will do better

Look people we have only won 1 game in 8.....do people really think Bannigan Welsh some others r doing it lately.....we slaughtered Baird after the Aberdeen game at home and look at the team tonight what's the difference......let's be honest he's not been giving a chance. Some off the players that play off doolan have played most games and not scored a single goal except higgy.

Don't mean to be negative but I think Craigen gives the ball away far too much or has been of late.

decent performance by thistle thought the team looked nervous 1st half but whatever Archie said settled them down. for me James craigen gave the ball away more than he keep it (not the 1st time I've noticed this in a game) think if doolan had better support we may have got a point or 3

Hopefully Celtic play a blinder tonight and then come crashing down on Sunday. A point would be massive for us

Been reading this since the start of the season. Think we have be very harsh on Baird he's never had a run in the side in and out of 2 cup games which u must admit wasn't the best team performance coming from the high of the league to the smaller and low tempo cup game against lower league teams. He's only started 2 spl games were he done well against st. Mirren and yes he was poor against Aberdeen. Don't think he's really had a chance to be fair maybe needs a run in the side and he's proved he can score goals. Would also like to see two strikers played
