  1. Spoke to Dools at the Player of the Year event, and mentioned that I had proudly held up my KR1S D00LAN scarf after he scored his 100th league goal against Hamilton. He replied, "Well, it was good you were able to use it twice!". True gentleman, true professional - true Jags legend.
  2. Just to add to yesterday's disappointing display, my wife lost/misplaced her beloved Thistle scarf somewhere at the Hibs ground. She bought it some years ago - it is mainly black with slim red & yellow stripes evenly spaced along the scarf. If anyone happened to find it please let me know. Thanks
  3. I went into Firhill yesterday to get tickets, and the pile of remaining tickets was looking rather small (maybe 30~40 left?), so unless Thistle are going to get a further allocation I would advise getting yours quickly!
  4. I have spoken to the club and PMed Auld Jag - the club will arrange for a copy of the match to be provided.
  5. BB - I'll speak to the right people at the Club today and let you know.
  6. Auld Jag's post on Robert also moved me, and a memorial is a great idea. Put me in for £10, plus £10 from Mrs Jagged Edge = £20
  7. Very sorry to hear the sad news about Robert, AJ - our thoughts are with you today.
  8. Hi Phil - update, I'll take the last scarf also! Many thanks!
  9. Hi Phil - I'll take one more scarf please. Will send payment tonight. Thanks!
  10. I'm not prepared to reveal any confidential information, but I am prepared to say that in my humble opinion I would be very surprised if there was a manager in the SPFL that worked harder than Alan Archibald to bring in new players. In Archie I trust.
  11. I counted eight good saves from Ryan last night, so I am in for £25.
  12. Decided to torture myself this evening at about 7pm during the 10 minute trip to the supermarket when I flicked the car radio to Radio Clyde - the feeling of nausea welling up was instantaneous, as the OF vomit entered my ears. But then I nearly crashed the car when I was instantly transported to a parallel universe (the Earth in this universe could well have been flat for all I knew) when the presenter (don't know who, can't be bothered looking it up) said, "that a number of the pundits were predicting that Partick Thistle would be a top six finish this year. Alan Archibald has been steadily building up the team each year and were looking like contenders for top six"! Having had my fill of Thistle astonishment, I switched the radio off.
  13. It's time to keep the feelgood factor going after a brilliant result at the weekend with some hilarity (and a few groans). I'll kick off with a couple: Joke #1 Partick Thistle star Kallum Higginbotham has been given a new nickname by the Firhill faithful - "Higgs Boson". When asked about the new nickname Kallum replied, "At first I thought the fans had got the Huddersfield Corridor mixed up with the Hadron Collider, but then I remembered that Thistle fans are the most intelligent fans in the UK. It was then that I realised the new nickname is because I am a Particle Thistle player". Joke #2 Members of Rangers oldest supporters group (who claim to have originated 600,000 years ago)* staged a protest outside Ibrox today. A spokesthing for the ORCS (Official Rangers Club Supporters) said, "Ummgnarrumph.....ugh!" * TV boffin Brian Cox says that Neanderthals were a different species to Homo Sapiens, but there was likely to have been some inter breeding going on - probably by Orcs slags taking advantage of some poor drunken Homo Sapiens on a Friday night (in the dark). I think we all know where the last vestiges of this murky gene pool are lingering. If you think you can do better - please do!

  17. There will be Thistle fans who will have already left on the train.............
  18. As I came out of the toilet after the game, my wife said that several fans were talking about an older Thistle fan shouting abuse at the players entering the tunnel and spitting at them. I think it may have been Cowdenbeath fans that witnessed this. Why The Big Man thinks he is so "big" that he feels it necessary to question Tom's integrity in the manner he did is beyond me......
