Charlie fitted in well in the Aussie A League showing some of his Crafty Glasgow Touches ala Chic Charnley ! As the standard of the A League is very much the same as Div 1 I think he'd do really well for us so why not give him a go as it wouldn;t do any harm to our current plight !

The game was on the telly. Gers were better team in 1 st half and Rovers better team in 2nd. The worst beer I ever tasted here in Australia was KB Lager. I remember I got a carton of 24 cans at half price many years ago and after the 1st one the rest went down the sink.Another disaster over here is Pure Blonde.It's still hard to go past VB and Tooheys though.Crown Lagers are a great buy when they are on special at $40.00 a case when you buy 2 cases.

No Probs mate. Just as I predicted.The Aussies got hammered and lucky it was only 4-0.Good on the Kiwi's though and a good morale booster for the other 2 games.The Aussies PICKED THE WRONG TEAM but they won't admit it so we'll see how many the Ghananians put past them. Did I spell taht Right ?

Not having a go at Kiwi's mate,just letting people know that a country so small can produce a team in the World Cup which is a great achievment for their size.Good luck to them anyway.I also think that the Aussies will get hammered as their player contingent is the weakest Aussie team I've seen in my 23 yrs here in Oz.

If you havn't already heard then here is the news.Scott Mc Donald has been dumped by Australia and is not going to Sth Africa as a player.He was dumped along with Nicky Carle who was playing for Crystal Palace.Carle is an excellent thinking player when going forward and his ommision is a mystery to me.McDonald must be gutted and Now Australia have only one recognised up front striker on board.I don't give them a chance in hell in winning a game at all. They were garbage the other night against NZ. McDonald can only hope that he gets the nod for the next world cup in 2014.

Give it a go lads n' lassies.Many of the Aussie teams have players who hail from Scottish decent,Ian Henderson of the NZ Warriors for instance. Almost half of the fans are young girls and women too! A very physical game and the skilful players like to throw the ball around causing great excitement in forward play.I follow the Penrith Panthers here in the NRL and they have acouple of exciting players and regularly pull in around 15,000 fans to home games.
