I made no comment on Caldwell other than it would not be unreasonable to give him more time than three games as Archie was given 18 months even as things got worse and worse ..... caldwell has the burden of inheriting as bad a team we have had for a long time though possibly the most expensive shit squad in the clubs history ..... lets see where we are before Xmas

I would play Doolan or coullibaly up front and quitongo in the hole behind ......we need pace in the flanks to get behind teams so maybe storey on one side ( any other options ? ?) nit sure in the other side we can’t punt long balls up the park we don’t have those type of front players we need to get back to passing on the ground !

Jag zone does my nut in... never really any real critical analysis but we can all see things are not right we need improvement in all departments and I would agreed a major squad overhaul is needed i never understand why we recruit players eg Melbourne Jeffries Scobbie etc yet they are never considered good enough to start any game ... what’s the point ?

I think this is a good discussion on where we are .... no personal abuse or vitriol just trying to work out where we are and what we need to do ... the manager must be given time and he has indicated he will try and do things in January ... let’s hope he can steady the ship before then on Doolan he’s a penalty box striker and if we don’t get good balls to him there we won’t score that lack of creativity is telling

Well his other comments to the press at least indicate he knows things and players need to change ... the official site questions are always positive and putting a positive spin on everything we need a bit of realism ... the teams not good enough , the players are not good enough

Same old problems ... can’t keep a clean sheet , can’t defend high balls and an very average goalkeeper not scoring .... creating little, no real chances and lack creativity equals hard times ahead
