Unfortunately I don't see him getting sacked no matter where we finish. In fact I can see us having him as manager next season, even if we are in league 1. After he impresses the board with his power point display on how he will get us promoted back to the Championship.

Tonight was the ideal game to win and put pressure on Falkirk, QOS and even Morton. We failed as we have done most of this season.

I was going to say we were dreadful in the first half, but we weren't that good. Second half we improved but still lost . Had hoped that once Caldwell had signed his players in January that had improved us and looked like it had. But tonight we were back to one of the worst displays of the season.

We should be able to win our remaining 4 home league games and pick up some points from our remaining away games. Only game I think will be hard to get anything is Ross County away. All of this of course depends on what Thistle turn up . 2019 version we will be fine, 2018 Thistle we are in trouble.

Where we finish is the most important thing. I think only then can we say if we think/ hope he should be kept on or sacked. A good article on the BBC Scotland sport website about the process of hiring a football manager. Sorry but not technical enough to do a link.
