Agree with this. A number of things will need to be discussed at the end of this season. Lets hope one of them isn't how will we survive relegation to league 1.

QOS on a bad run. A few weeks ago it was Dunfermline, look at where they are now. We need to start another good run in the league to put pressure on teams. If we don't it doesn't matter how bad the others are , we will be the team going down.

Yes, there was 4. As you say I was surprised that the lower leagues got a lot of attention and even a bit about the Raith Rovers mascot. I had mixed feelings about it some good bits but a few forgettable throw away bits. Will probably give it another watch.

Agree with everything you say JAG1970. I think mid table is out of reach now. For me finishing 8th is the best we can expect this season. Sad but true.

If we go down again this season, imo very few on the board,managerial side or playing side could be happy with their contribution to this season. We must be in the top 4 budgets and if we finished bottom, we would be unable to finish above a part time team. Like you I will still follow Thistle no matter what league we are in, but not everybody will. I just hope the board , manager and players realise just what a blow to our club another relegation would be.

Looking at his managerial career, I don't think he recognizes errors.

There is no doubt that our rapid decline since getting top 6 has been both rapid and alarming as we don't seem to know how to turn it around. Archibald had a big part in the decline and his last 2 transfer windows were at best poor. But before that we had 4 seasons in the premier league and Archibald had a big part in that as well. That is why I think it is unfair to refer to him as a clown. But each to their own.

Don't know how it was missed. I am not the best with this inter web thing, if I can find his record anybody can. Regarding Archibald I thought his time was up long before we sacked him. I had doubts after Kilmarnock beat us 2-0 at Firhill when their reserve manager was in charge, just before Clarke took over. Archibald had done brilliant for us but his time was up. When we sacked him I said sacking him might be the easy bit as we had to get the right replacement in. Imo we haven't , I will be more than happy to be proven wrong. I don't think you do yourself any favours calling the previous manager a clown. He did a very good job for about 4 years. I don't think we will be able to say that about Caldwell.

Part time Arbroath 16 points ahead of full time Raith Rovers, who have been in league1 for a number of seasons now. Anybody who thinks if we get relegated we will bounce straight back, think again.

Hopkins time at Bradford mirrors our current managers record with us. Very poor start, some better results with a few wins and then another run of defeats.
