If Jackie and Sid get the job imo the initial contract should be for a year onlyto see how they do, if they want any longer i would look elsewhere.It has cost us enough in the past paying of management teams.

I dont know who the new manager will be,but i do hope that whoever it is he will be able to install what i would call mental toughness into our team.Far to often over the last couple of years when we go a goal behind the game is over,yet when we go a goal ahead the opposition sometimes manage to come back and get something from the game.Also i dont recall us coming back from being 2 goals down ang getting anything at all for a good number of years.

Never mind Dunfermline.It would be good for us to get something today so we can continue to pull away from the play off place.Really feel we should be ahead going by the text updates,just hope we dont regret the missed chances.

Not the worst goaless game ever.Imo we had the best chances(how did Doolan not burst the net when he just had Douglas to beat)but Fox had to make the better saves which imo sums up our season.We need to get in at least one striker for next season or once again we will struggle.Livingstone will come up and Hamilton look like coming down.Stirling imo are all but relegated so whoever wins the play off could be the weakest team for next season.If we dont watch we could also be down there.

Agree, but at least we didnt lose and keeps up our unbeaten run in the league.We also came from a goal down and it sounded as if we were the better team in the second half.We wont be challenging for the league this season or next either imo but hopefully we can stay away from the bottom 3.

When are we going to score from a corner? We get countless corners but very rarely score from them.

Would have taken a point before the game but after being 3 1 up with so little time left it is very dissappointing to draw.But we dont know how many of our players were still feeling the efects of this bug.It is good the young keeper now has a first team game under his belt and he seems to have done ok.If i remember right Leeds last 2 goal leads in 3 or 4 games in a row earlier in the season,so we are not the only ones ,but it would be nice to see us coming into games ourselves when we are 2 down instead of just looking as if we have given up.We are not going to win the league but i would like to see us getting some more wins asap just so we are not involved in any last minute relegation battle although i think the bottom 3 will be Stirling Albion,Cowdenbeath and Ross County anyway lets get a victory on Tuesday and 4pts out of those 2 games would be good.

I know that we havent made a fortune from the cup,but as all boards say that they budget for getting knocked out in the first round of cup competitions surely our we run in the cup has helped to make a dent in the 50k we need.Anybody any idea how much we have made so far and how much we could make at Perth?

I feel this will come back to haunt us.Liam has had a poor season but i think he has improved in his last couple of games,is this because he knew he was going?We are not saving all if his wages if we get another striker in his place,i take it we will need to contribute to thier wages.Imo we should have kept LB until his contract was up.

I do feel that Halliwell is being treated a bit unfairly on this forum.Yes he has made mistakes and one of those did cost us a place in the chalenge cup final,but he is not the only Thistle player to make some mistakes this season,if Liam would have been playing as well as he has done in previous seasons we would have scored more goals for example.I do hope we can get Fox on a longer contract but i do feel that Halliwell is ok for backup.

If Dundee do not now accept the 25pts deduction,imo they should be flung out of the league now and told they have to reaply to join the SFL for next season.

The descision to deduct 25pts from Dundee could cause people to lose jobs says Harry Maclean of Dundee,no Dundee spending money on players and wages they didnt have and having to go into administration is what will cause people to lose jobs.Also they seem to have forgotten about the management team and players whose contracts they tore up.If this lot are not relegated imo they have gotten away with it again.They are saying they hope to be out of adminstration by 7th January just in time for the transfer window.
