  1. At the moment, I don’t share your assessment that we are on track for the playoffs. We are currently 3 points worse off than last season when we just scraped in. But more worrying is the way that heads go down when go behind by two goals. Not only is there no belief that we can come back from that, but it is more likely that we lose heavily.
  2. It’s a pretty important point. The kick in the head to McInroy and Elbow in the face were by the same player, who should have been off the park, before Holt is allowed the freedom of Firhill. We also should have had a penalty in the 1st half when Lawless was tugged just before having a shot. The ref definitely favoured Utd. Having said that, there is no excuse for the way the team gave up after the 2nd goal.
  3. If the red weather warning is still in place tomorrow, it will probably be off. However, we had to go to Inverness a fortnight ago with all trains off etc.
  4. No. I don’t want TJF to be taken for mugs. Putting money in and getting nothing back in return.
  5. OK - TJF is playing the long game. However, regarding the ongoing investment, it surely deserves more respect than it is currently receiving from the Club board. In little more than 2 and a bit years, it will equal the recent investment. TJF’s reps on the club board should keep reminding them of that. None of the others on the board have given free money to the club.
  6. Which former chairman are we talking about here ? Not Alistair Creevy, as he had his own potential investors, so he said.
  7. What’s been missing here is communication and fan involvement around the whole thing. Unless, I missed it, we are only just learning that the loan to Alistair Creevy has been paid back. When did that happen ? And you mention not grudging investors getting their money back . When do we(TJF members) get our money back for our ongoing investment in PTFC. The club just seem to be taking our money and paying lip service to fan inclusion in the decision making, in fact not just fan inclusion but TJF inclusion, if I read the statement correctly.
  8. I seem to remember in one of the videos by the board members that one of them said that the cash issues had been stabilised - that is obviously at odds with the statement put out by TJF.
  9. I have read that statement. It mentions the club board negotiating the deal and TJF not seeing the detail until a couple of days before it was due to be signed. I am disappointed it doesn’t acknowledge the link between the two and address how much the TJF members on the club board knew. It also says that the loan to Alistair Creevy has been repaid. Was that before or after he was sacked ? These are important points in the road to openness.
  10. I am not sure I have given any influence to TJF. What I have said is that it doesn’t seem plausible that TJF weren’t aware of the investment and didn’t think about raising fan consultation until too far into the process.
  11. You are going to have to explain your 1st point. Are you saying somebody other than the board agreed the investment?
  12. Is it not the Herald that has just started dropping a thistle story every Wednesday at 6pm.
  13. Well, if a TJF board member and another TJF representative didn’t consider fan consultation until late in the process, is there really any hope for fan ownership. But as you say let’s wait we get the statement.
  14. The point was that fan consultation being an afterthought and TJF not being aware of the investment until it was a done deal didn’t ring true to me, which were 2 things that I think you have put forward. TJF are obviously aware of some things that go on in the board as they in the breakdown with Mr Creevy.
  15. I am not sure this is correct. Previously, TJF had a representative on the board that couldn’t share information. But since the announcement of true fan ownership, I am sure a TJF Board member is also on the Club Board.
  16. This surely can’t be true - they have a seat on the board.
  17. I don’t know what that means - is it a yes or no to you having inside information?
  18. Are you guessing here or have some inside info. It just doesn’t ring true to me, particularly after the recent announcement by TJF that we have Fan ownership with the aim to have greater fan consultation to include all fans. So to kind of say that it was an afterthought….
  19. Also hoping that the deal wasn’t so rushed that there wasn’t enough time for due diligence.
  20. I am finding it a bit bemusing that TJF or at least WJ is arguing the establishment position of boards. Here was me thinking that their idea was to try to find a way to include all supporters in this Fan ownership thing.
  21. I am finding it a bit bemusing that TJF are now arguing the establishment position when, correct me if I am wrong, they don’t actually own any shares. We still need to know the facts around the urgency of making the decision without consultation.
  22. Have we had a statement yet that clearly sets out why it had to be done so quickly, apart from the vague reference to cash shortfall, which previously we had been told had been resolved ? What were minority shareholders consulted on ?
  23. I can’t say I have spoken to many people that have made any comment about the Gaelic signage at Firhill. Pretty sure that if Jacqui Low thought the perception would be that PTFC was a Nationalist club, she wouldn’t have approved it.
  24. For some reason, Lawless doesn’t have the best of games up there, at least as far as I remember.
  25. Well, now getting into the realms of he said/ she said, but McCreevy said he had secured investment of £400k(no strings mentioned),which seems to have been rejected in favour of £500k with strings.
