The shares are only worth what someone is willing to pay. While the consortium bid is on the table, I can see why they might not want to give the shares away for free, however should that fail (due diligence/SPFL approval) then what would they be worth ?

I don't think it is a case of not being unhappy with the old board. More a case of being extremely concerned by the prospects of Chien/Conway and whatever happens following that. (Which happens to be my own view, so maybe I'm reading what I want to read)

One question. I assume that the 2 trusts are not going to sell or gift their shares, so does the 51% exclude these shares, or is it to top up the combined shares to get over the 51% ? Either way, but more so in the latter case and barring in mind the differences of opinion in this forum, what are the chances of 3 supporters bodies all working for the same common good ?

I think that the 4 central defenders might be to allow GC to go for his favoured 3 at the back and still have an option on the bench. Certainly Williamson and Robson will fit into that formation than in a flat 4. The sticking point is the lack of a recognised midfield enforcer. It will for sure give us options, and opponents might be confused as to how to line up against us if they don't know what shape we will be. Equally our guys could be completely confused if the formation keeps changing, but lets be positive until we know.

Although we know little more about this group than the Chien/Conway group, I am much more comfortable with this model which will ensure the best intentions and independence of Thistle long term. They have my backing

If you look at his twitter, it is clear that Banzo and O'Ware are mates.

While I am in no way condoning the action and feel there should be a solution that can accommodate Banzo and Tam in the team, if Caldwell has identified them as part of the problem, he has the right to make the changes he thinks necessary. However if this happens, he will live or die on the results and if they don't improve, he will be under extreme pressure. That said, if we now win the next 5 in a row, will all those criticising him now be man enough to give credit for what must be a brave decision ? I hope I will.
