  1. Or, whilst some of our fans expect us to be going out and beating everyone around us, it's not that easy. other teams have improved their squads.
  2. Don't forget though. In the real world, there's still 90 points to play for.
  3. Deep deep doo doo? Don't be ridiculous. We're 6 points off 7th with 30 games to play. You're embarrassing yourself.
  4. I'm not sure the relevance of your referente to their cup wins. So I'll ask again. Killie & County think they should be doing better. Some Thistle fans think we should be doing better. So, who should these teams be doing better than?
  5. So, Kilmarnock change manager because their board and fans think they should be doing better. Ross County have changed manager as they too thought they should be doing better. There are grumbles from our support that we should be doing better. So, who's over achieved so far, that would allow these teams to have done better?
  6. Possibly, I remember Storey blazing a guilt edge chance over the bar. It's difficult when your at the opposite end. We did have quite a few chances to go two up before half time though.
  7. I'm saying both things happenned. It was blatantly obvious hearts went up a gear as soon as the change was made. The don't give us time to settle. We were forced to sit deep to protect against Scully's poor kick outs.
  8. Hearts upped their game when Elliott went off. We had to sit back because Scully's kick outs were terrible.
  9. Did that against Rangers last season, conceded and Archie got slaughtered on here for it.
  10. To be honest, it's the opposite for me. With Booth missing it's demonstrating just how good Elliott is. I prefer him over booth at left back.
  11. I think Dumbuya's race is run. Freed at Christmas?
  12. His ball to Barton was terrible, took Barton well away from goal.
  13. I'm putting yesterday down to the culmination of a few things. We didn't score a second before half time. We came out in the second half and played with very little pace. Elliott going off changed the game, Hearts raised their game to not allow our full back changes time to settle into their roles. Scully's kicking was deplorable. Barely getting over the half way line and never reaching a Thistle player meant our players had to sit deep to protect our goal. Using a higher line would have been suicide with his kicking. On a side note, some of our supporters are fckin idiots. Doolan was poor and wasn't understanding 2 up top. He repeatedly made Storeys run, when he should have been hitting the back post, leaving us short in the middle for the final ball. Folk criticising archie for subbing Dools for Banzo, and in the same posts complimenting our ability to get back into it in the last 10, are fckin idiots! Folk criticising the team for hopelessly punting, yet criticising Barton "dallying" are fckin idiots. He's looking for a pass that doesn't reliquish possession!!! Folk wanting Banzo to be starting? The guys just been out for a year! He's nowhere near fit. We should be protecting our players, not destroying them! Feel sorry for Nesbit. He's a victim of our own success. Not good enough for the Premiership. Will do well in the Championship, maybe. Final point, we were without Cerny, Booth, Dumbuya, Osman, Fraser, Erskine & Sammon yesterday.
  14. Shouldn't think so, I previously had access to the Groundsman's cupboard under the NS, when I stored all the flags during a pre season.
  15. Should be one pot for all 3. One Thistle, afterall. Can I ask that the crest of Amsterdam goes on the right way round, this time? Great work Jagfox.
  16. For reference, my last post is what I was hoping our club would have released as a statement.
  17. "As many of you may be aware, we must unfortunately report that Firhill Stadium experiences a break in, after our game with Rangers. Sadly, three of our supporters groups flags were taken from the premises. The Amsterdam Jags, Jordanhill Jags and Nomad Global Supporters Clubs. The matter has been passed to the poluce and we have been in contact with all three supporters groups. Since the North Stand became the home of our singing section, it's not just the vocal support but the colourful display that has become senonemous with this area of the ground. Whilst the financial costs are heavy for these flags, it's the emotional attachment that will have taken a hit over the weekend. The Club will continue to be in contact with the previously mentiobed groups, until such times as a satisfactory conclusion is reached. Moving forward, it would seem that a more permanent/secure storage place will need to be found. We are currently working with the grounds team to allow the club to provide such a place within the North Stand."
  18. Condescending & patronising towards the very people you look to, when you're doing your fundraising. Good work.
  19. What do you think would be a suitable statement for the club to make, when property of the fans has been stolen from club premises? Or do you not think it merits them mentioning it?
