Really nice to log on to ptfc.co.uk and see the score reading 3-0 for Thistle. The 4th goal in the 90th minute just was the icing on the cake.

Considering we where 2 down this is a pretty good result. Grabbing a point in the last minute... kind of like last season, only reversed (how many games we drew or lost in the last few minutes last season? Way too many...).

I rather support about ANY other team but Bremen. Also, my best friend supports Hamburg (so does my mom as well), so that's enough Hamburg supporters for me, lol. I'm thinking of visiting some games from my "district team", which would be the VfL Lohbrügge. They play in the 7th or 8th league and their home pitch is about a 5 minute walk from where I live. But somehow I always have something else to do on a Saturday afternoon. ^^

It's not my fault that Bayern is so succesful. Calling me a glory hunter is a bith harsh, imo. Also it would be much, MUCH easier for me to support a different team. Would save me from all the abuse I sometimes get, especially from the family of my wife, who are all supporters of St. Pauli.

This thread reminds me: I have never supported a local team. I was born and raised near Hamburg, now I live in Hamburg, which is home of many football clubs. Most noticeable HSV and FC St. Pauli (both are in the top flight, even though St. Pauli looks like they might get relegated again this season), but I have always been a supporter of FC Bayern München since my early childhood. Pretty strange if you think about it, since Munich is about 800km away from Hamburg. Also, I have never visited a home game yet (as I've said Munich is just too far away). When I first visited Glasgow I already knew about Rangers and Celtic, but I wasn't too interested in those. I then learned about the ONLY team in Glasgow and started supporting them. I even made it to a home game last year (against Dunfermline, which we lost 2-0 ).

A win would have been very important - against a direct opponent in relegation battle, but with one man down I'm happy about the one point. Especially since we where down one goal at some point of the match.

Very immportant win today. Okay, every win is important, but after the horrible loss last week it is good to see the team winning again. It's also nice to see Buchanan scoring a goal again. Too bad he didn't score a second one.

I was glad when we took the lead the second time. Usually it's Thistle scores the first, recieves the equalizer and then gives up another goal shortly after. So I think it was good when we scored the second goal after the equalizer. Didn't see Ross Countys second goal (only on text updates), but a goal that late in the game (a few minutes before the final whistle) is always a bummer.
