  1. Tesco Entertainment have increased their donations until the 7th of March so you had better be quick to take advantage of this: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/tesco-entertainment/#38868 Let us keep working together to generate those extra funds for our football club. Thanks for your support!
  2. We have 5 home games remaining this season and we will be out selling tickets at all of them starting on Saturday so if you fancy giving yourself a chance of winning some cash (average prize is just £320 for the season so far) then we will be happy to have your custom. Thanks for your continued support!
  3. With a new month there is a new competition and for March it is the chance to win a Virgin Experience Giftcard and camcorder: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2012-03-viking/ We have gained a few new members (thanks for that) and if we continue to work together then we will help the club that we all support so lets make March (and the rest of the year) as good as possible. Thanks for your support!
  4. I am no doctor but I would not recommend swallowing any of said substance in a day
  5. I don't know, our overall debt was stated at just over £600,000 at the open meeting earlier in the season but how much is to Europa I could not say. I certainly have not forgotten that and it will be a challenge for next season but that does not change the fact that our financial results for the last period were good.
  6. Noticed today that Dunfermline announced losses of £430,000 for the year ended 31st May 2011. This is on top of QoS posting losses of over £250,000 and Morton losses of over £300,000 for the same period. Thistle posted a small (about £8,000) profit for that period. I know that there are a lot of fans who question if the Board have Thistle or PropCo's best interests at heart and say they should put their hands in their pockets but when compared to these clubs and, I would imagine, the other clubs from last season's first division who have to announce their figures then it certainly looks like we as a club are doing the right things.
  7. That is a good idea and I will, with your permission, take it to the club. Regards the sales of 50/50 tickets this season - the average prize is £318 (taking all games into account) which means that 1,272 tickets are sold on average. As I have said previously this is a great effort from the fans and the support we are receiving is very much appreciated!
  8. If you are partial to some nice chocolates then have a look at these offers (a couple expire soon so be quick): http://www.easyfundr...rading-company/ Generating additional finance for our club is very important and these schemes allow us to that in a very easy way so lets keep working together to make a real difference. Thanks for your support!
  9. Just giving this a bump as we move nearer to Saturday.
  10. With Mothers' Day coming up in March you may want to take advantage of the offers that are available with Interflora: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/interflora/ Let's make a difference to our football club and generate additional funds through our use of these initiatives. Thanks for your support!
  11. Remember that you can compare prices for products and services on easyfundraising so that you can get yourself the best deal possible before making that purchase through easyfundraising and helping our football club: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/price-comparison/ We are heading towards the final month of the the first quarter of 2012 so lets make sure that it is a good one. Thanks for your support!
  12. There have been 2 stupid red cards in the last month but overall we are one of the best disciplined teams in the division. Only Hamilton have fewer red cards (just the one) and we actually have the fewest yellow cards (29).
  13. Good idea, all for anything that gives us a better chance of winning.
  14. There was a positive finish to the weekend with the youth teams winning 3 out of their 4 fixtures (the other result was a draw): http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/february_2012/youth_round_up_-_february_26th Remember to collect your cans during the week please for collection at the game on Saturday!
  15. Thanks for that. I think it means that we both need to get out more!
  16. Just to be clear I was only trying to establish who you were talking about as it could have been either the manager of Board, I was not saying the Board are perfect or have not made mistakes.
  17. I don't have the figures for what the away supports for the 2 Dundee & 2 Morton games were for this season compared to last season but even if they were larger that would not alone account for the increase.
  18. One thing I have found is that nothing really helps an angry football fan (sometimes they actually don't want anything to either).
  19. Thanks, I just wasn't sure if you were speaking about him or the Board.
  20. If you had said over the last 12 years then I would agree but our average league attendance so far this season is about 400 more than the average for last season.
  21. I don't quite follow your point, who is it you think is squandering our resources?
  22. The short answer, in my opinion, is yes. We have been inconsistent but apart from Ross County and Falkirk so have all the teams (even those with experienced managers). I think that our fans, and the fans of lots of other clubs, are frustrated with some of the things that are taking place at their club but more so with the overall structure/state of Scottish football as a whole. Add in the fact that there is a general lack of patience amongst football fans combined with the modern reality television show "somebody has to be voted out each week" attitude and it is a difficult time to be a manager of any club not just Thistle.
  23. For those of you who like or know someone who likes the old fashioned sweeties that we used to enjoy in our childhoods then have a look at this retailer and if you want to purchase something then please do so through easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/a-quarter-of.../ Lets keep working to make sure that we generate as much funds as possible for our football club. Thanks for your support!
  24. Something that I had not picked up on straight away is that unlike last year when it was one table of 30 teams this year it is 3 divisions of 10 so instead of having a one in thirty chance of winning £10,000 we have a one in ten chance of winning that amount!
