  1. He got an injury in training on the Friday before the Arbroath game so that is why he missed that game then he was straight back in the squad for Morton and came off the bench so don't think he has fallen out of the picture. Robinson has done well coming off the bench recently so the manager probably wants to see him starting a game and thinks Bannigan & McInroy are the best two to make up the midfield beside him in this instance.
  2. 2 former Thistle players combining - Callum Booth crossing for Craigen to score.
  3. Rangers await the winners of our semi final so let's hope the final is a Glasgow derby!
  4. I suppose my other gran stopped being elderly when she passed away. Another thing that annoys me, google putting a picture of someone on their homepage and telling us it is their 189th birthday - no it is not!
  5. She is but does drive a hard bargain, not sure if the club could meet her terms - a season's supply of those pink wafer biscuits, a free Sunday Post delivered each weekend and a new fluffy toilet seat cover!
  6. I want to see all keepers getting a move on, the ball is in play for a relatively small amount of time and I don't want to see a chunk of that with the keeper lying on top of it after taking a cross my elderly gran could have taken without hitting the deck!
  7. I will make a donation to the referees benevolent fund or the individual referee's charity of choice when I see a referee penalise a goalkeeper for holding on to the ball for longer than 7 seconds! Not to tell you how to do your job but would be interested if you paid attention to that (on both sides) tomorrow. Also, is it too hard for assistants to see if the goalkeeper is holding the ball outside the box before they kick it? Rant over.
  8. Well done to the winners: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/january-2024-centenary-fund-results/ (Mild fix)
  9. Update from the club: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/ptfc-agm-update/
  10. Tickets for Sunday's semi final against Hibs are now on sale: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/ptw-semi-final-tickets-on-sale-now/
  11. Let me cut through all the lenghy posts as it is so simple as to what needs to be done. We get on to our good friend David Hasselholf who gets on to another person who probably hangs around Hollywood - Taylor Swift - and he tells her to get her dosh in to Firhill and not Firpark!
  12. Well done on a fairly comfortable 2-0 win, now have an 11 point lead on Aberdeen with a goal difference advantage of 31 and just 5 games until the split.
  13. A big game today at home to Aberdeen - a victory and we are almost certain to be top 6 at the split. Kick off is 4.10pm as the game is on BBC Alba for those that can't make it along. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-fixture/partick-thistle-wfc-v-aberdeen-wfc-14th-january-2024/#match-preview
  14. I had asked TJF to ask a question about the budget and got a response which was that the £150K loss was based (footballing wise) on a 3rd place league finish and not getting beyond Ross County in the Scottish Cup. There would be other factors - crowds, hospitality uptake, etc as well. If we end up finishing 2nd in the league and get beyond Ross County next weekend is it your assertion that we still lose £150K (assuming the non football targets are met) as that is not what I took the response I received to mean?
  15. They certainly do, along with soap and education.
  16. Must confess to not rating Carson but hopefully we hold on to McMillan until the end of the season - I don't think there would be any lack of effort even if he signs a PCA.
  17. 7 points out of 9 in 2024 - good going. Probably one for Michael Max - quite a few yellow cards today, do we have any players heading for/close to a suspension?

  19. Thanks for the reminder. H H H H H A A A A A H A H A A A
  20. Looking forward to hearing the key points from tonight's AGM - do we have chocolate digestives at board meetings whilst poor old Raith directors have to make do with ordinary digestives? In all seriousness an update would be appreciated.
  21. I am not sure I understand that last point - they have players contracted beyond the end of this season, recently extended the manager's deal by 3 years and have to maintain their stadium, etc all of which takes a certain amount of money. Sorry if I have misunderstood your point.
  22. Facts only please! Just joking, it could be that the money is much the same but the extra year swung it. Also he might live nearer us so would be saving money on travel costs. Anyway, happy with the signing and what Doolan is doing in this window.
  23. Things are moving ahead off the pitch so if you have any views/comments I would urge you to respond to this consultation: https://thejagsfoundation.co.uk/consultation-on-club-trust-agreement/
