  1. RC winning. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about it. it's all very confusing
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/27230739
  3. Killie and Hearts to win. I don't care who goes down as long as it's not us. County losing would see them starting to be cast adrift at the bottom. That can only be good for us.
  4. I live in London and when people hear my accent they say, "so, are you a Rangers or a Celtic fan?". They seem amazed that anyone from Glasgow wouldn't support one or other of the ugly sisters.
  5. I thought they might have been ditching Joma as all the Joma stuff is reduced, not just the actual strips.
  6. As the shop is selling off all of the Joma kit at half price, does that mean we're getting a new kit and/or kit supplier next season?
  7. Not bad at all. £4 postage isn't too bad either. I was going to buy a beanie hat from the club/TTL shop yesterday but they're looking for £5.95 postage. £7.99 for a hat is fine but £5.95 for a jiffy bag and a stamp? Don't think so.
  8. My Dad and all his side of the family were die-hard Rangers fans. Well me and my old man never got on and I desperately wanted to be the exact opposite of everything he was and everything he stood for. To p*ss him right off I declared myself a Celtic fan and promptly pinned a picture of Danny McGrain on my bedroom wall. He went apesh*t! The picture was unceremoniously ripped down. I realised that being a Celtic fan was a rebellion too far. Not wanting to give up I had to think of an alternative. I realised that we lived about halfway between Kilbowie and Firhill, so Thistle being higher up the league tables than Clydebank at the time, I asked my Mum to take me to a Thistle match. My old man didn't seem too upset about having a black sheep in the family. Obviously a Jags fan he could just about tolerate in the house. Anyway, my Mum sensing an opportunity for a wee attack on my Dad promptly took me to the match the following weekend. I was hooked and have never looked back. So the only thing I have to be grateful to the old man for was that if he hadn't been such a complete and utter w*nker I'd have been a Rangers fan.
  9. I can't help thinking the club is missing out on money by having such a limited number of items for sale online. Apart from the tops and hoodies etc, and the teddy, mug and keyring/trolley token thing, there's nothing else. What about some wee bits and pieces? Pens, tax disc holders, scarves, hats, plain (non Joma) Thistle t-shirts, wallets..... Surely there must be some money to be made out of things like that?
  10. Still think we're more likely to sneak a win than them
  11. Just checked... I've got BT Sport 1&2, and the HD versions. Luvvly Jubbly
  12. We certainly seem to be more than a match for Utd, Radio Scotland saying it could be 2 or 3 each by now.
  13. Anyone got a link to watch the game? I'm in London and there's bugger all chance of seeing it in a pub around here.
  14. Sad news indeed. He was part of the Thistle team when I started going to the games as a kid. Rest in peace big fella.
  15. Is there anywhere online that sells Thistle merchandise now? You know the sort of thing Greaves used to sell. Tat really, but Thistle tat. Tax disc holders, pens, wallets, scarves, badges..... The new club shop has a mug, a teddy and a trolley coin(?) but is there anywhere selling other stuff?
  16. I might be tempted to buy a couple of the shirts (definitely not the home or away tops though!) and maybe the track suit top if I knew what size they were. There's not a size guide anywhere on the site and as I'd be buying them mail order I can't try them on. I've emailed them twice but haven't had a reply. M,L & XL etc mean nothing. A large t-shirt could be any size. The L doesn't relate to anything. It's like a large coke or a large fries. Just an arbitrary size. Why men's clothes doesn't have a standard sizing system I just don't understand.
