PTFC - The Great Predictables. Is there anyone who thought we'd even score today?
ETA : In reference to the above we've been in a constant relegation fight since August 2013.
As Erskine subsequently followed up that opening 5 minutes with a masterclass of giving the ball away and chasing shadows I'll say my judgement was sound. Loving the self important 'I really don't know why I stick around' arrogant tosh as well.
I know there's an Erskine love-in on this site but it's easy to see why DUFC dumped him. Usual pattern of one decent game followed by at least 3 howlers. After 5 minutes last night I knew he'd be hooked again early doors.
I see the Record obviously understand what their readership has dwindled down to - an article written in a fashion a 6 year old could understand.
ETA: Even an obvious 'Looking for Lindsay' headline omitted.
Any reason why this is at 7.45 on a Wednesday night as opposed to today at 3.00? Aberdeen got 13k at their match today I see. The Xmas fixture list devised this year is a true nonsense.
If you were standing up to your neck in a pool of excrement and someone threw a bucket of vomit at you would you duck? A dilemma similar to this choice.
What I take heart from is that nobody has had a good season so far - indeed our 'big' players ( Doolan, Cerny, Osman, Lawless, Erskine ) have all been injured / rotten. If these players come into form in the second half the top 6 can be attained.
For a fair few ( including myself ) Elgin is the last remaining ground to see PTFC at. As per my previous post we'll rollover against one of our peer group at the earliest opportunity anyway so us anoraks might as well get something out of it beyond a 1-0 defeat at Dens Park.

Overall stats show goals relatively evenly distributed with the exception of the 100% chance of a goal in the last 5 minutes if Thistle are 1 up.
