I bet they did play well as they usually do what they can’t do though is deliver a final ball and if we can’t do that we ain’t going to move up the league. They way we play usually means it’s Elliot,Spittal or Storey delivering the final ball and they just can’t do it. If this doesn’t change or position doesn’t change. its so obvious and it happens week in week out

We Must replace Elliott (Anthony Ralston perhaps on Loan) We Must replace Mcginty (not with Scobbie) We Must replace Storey This is the absolute least that needs to be done I would possibly get a LB also (ATS would be Ideal)

It really is an easy fix week after week Storey,Spittal,Elliott and maybe even Penners do the hard bit and get into great positions but time after time the final ball the last killer pass fails them. we seem to be of the opinion that due to them consistently doing the hard parts that one week it will all click into place. for the last 18 months it hasn’t clicked and it’s not going to for one simple reason “THEY AINT GOOD ENOUGH” spittal can very rarely click and for that reason could maybe scrape the bench but Elliott and Storey just aren’t good enough. it always seems to be these four who are the final ball givers but time after time they let us down and that’s because we play wide football and these are the players who go wide. we must recruit a decent RB and another decent Winger who can deliver a decent cross. There was at least 3 Golden opportunities to square an easy final ball to score and Elliott and Storey badly let us down it cant continue

So we reach the half way point Won 4 Drawn 2 Lost 12 We have both the worst goals against tally and have lost the most games in the league so far. Since Caldwell came in we have Won 1 Drawn 2 and Lost 6 We sit second Bottom just 1 point above Falkirk and Part time Alloa sit 2 points above. it has been an utter shambles so far and for me Caldwell hasn’t achieved anything since taking over. maybe he needs his own Players but he hasn’t improved any current players and that must be a concern. Every team will loose goals that’s just the way football is but too win games you must score goals and for me this is the main area that needs changed. our final 3rd needs a whole new set up and let’s hope this comes in January.
