Totally agree with you on this one. They are two massive contributing factors why we are where we are today. The lads deserve to enjoy the day and celebrations with their team mates after all they have grafted all season for it. To try to deny them any part in the celebrations or playing in the run just shows a pathetic level of pettiness.

I am utterly at a loss to see why how the 2nd league could have worked. The top 8 fine for them continue your season playing your league in a similar fashion to the way it is now to the top 6 but getting 2 games each. The second league of 8 all teams start on 0 points ! So you could be 20 points ahead of last place in the spl and have to start again. Really ? What an utter farce that would have been. Where would the bottom 6 in the 1st division start in the 18 team league. Would everyone have started on 0 points there as well ? Apologies if I am missing something but if not this would have been a disaster and made our league really look stupid.

Hard work for Archie ahead is it not ? Tying down players to SPL wages when no one really knows the costs etc ! The remainder on previous contracts .i.e. Bannighan should have his contract updated / renewed. Tough times ahead. Once the party is over the aftermath I think will be grim !

A player I can say I have had the pleasure to watch. And one who will no doubt be gone in the summer. Chris you have been a revelation. Go if you have to. but i'd rather you stay and become a legend !

Todays Jags side linesman certainly had a few thoughts running through his head this afternoon. Not often given my JHS seat that I get to watch said officials but this guy was so far behind then ahead of the play it must have been guess work at times ! Utter joke.

No it will not a draw will mean it is still mathematically possible, If we lose all last 3 games after a draw at home to Raith and Greenock win all 3 games by 5 or 6 goals a game then they will be champions ! I right and pigs will fly lol !!

Would much rather spend cementing the squad we have to be honest. I know a few will go for bugger all but we will bring in equally as good for bugger all. The one's that leave will go so with my good wishes unless they follow the snake McNamara. In that case I hope they languish in reserve football and wish they still were at Firhill !
