1. Sorry to hear that really sad news. RIP Robert.
2. Well, without the benefit of highlights, I'm pretty sure Chris will be disappointed with his right footed shot in the first half that zipped past the post and at least one of his efforts went just wide of the post in the second when he looked certain to score. The same post that Barton's shot came off. Sure you were at the game or did your carer just pass on the details? Also, by "chance" I don't necessarily mean a direct shot on goal. Leading up to our goal we were too hot for Killie and if we had made a different final pass or a better cross then at times a goal could have been the outcome. So in the context of footballl I'll stick with "plenty" as we only had take one of them to win the game.
3. No, born in Springburn. U left skool yet? As for chances, I thought we had plenty. Off the top of my hungover head I reckon Erskine and Barton will be disappointed with efforts they missed.
4. I thought we were just awesome in the second half and it's just a shame we didn't check out with 3 pts. Didn't see their goal, but everybody makes mistakes, and I'm sure Tomas will be as disappointed as us. Top 6 finish would be a magnificent achievement so keep it up Jags.
5. Agree 100% with this. I went to the North Stand for the game against Hamilton and, being closer to the action, was staggered to see that Amoo would do all the hard work in beating the defender and then put in a cross to absolutely nobody. I can't make up my mind if he puts in a cross without looking up (my first impression), or if he sees it us 'job done' if he puts the cross in regardless if no one's there to get on the end of it! Similarly, on Saturday he would get to the bye line and just knock the ball into an area where Azeez was outnumbered by defenders. These guys need to talk to each other and come up with some kind of variety in there play to out fox the defenders.
6.
Reflecting this morning on the game yesterday, I can live with the disappointment of a poor display in a key game. I've been there often enough as a Jags fan.

But, yesterday I left home at 9:00 and arrived home at 22:45! What fcukwhit at the SFA thought it would be a good idea to play our game on a Sunday rather than have Hibs v Ayr

who are geographically closer and have better transport links on a Sunday.

And why are yellow cards given to our players for a raised foot, when there is only clear intention to play the ball, and regardless of the fact that the opposing player has lowered his head,

yet at Ibrox the previous day two Rangers players stay on the park for two blatant red card offences.

And they wonder why football in Scotland is dying on it's arse!

7. Only 5 behind St Johnstone and Hearts looking catchable. Go get 'em Jags!
8. Dammit! Shame that was offside as it was a lovely passing movement up to the 'goal'!
9. 100% agree on the Lindsay tackle. Key moment that summed up the work ethic that permeated throughout the team last night. Hope we can carry it forward for our upcoming games at Firhill.
10. Just havin a wee celebratory drink in Dingwall before heading to Inverness. Happy as Larry! Merry Christmas Jags fans everywhere.
11. Brilliant second half performance!! Funny, don't notice the cold anymore. Yeeeehaaa!
12. Just out of interest, who coaches our strikers during training? A few times this season I would loved to have seen our striker draw the ball back to is left foot for his shot, which can often send the defenders and keeper the wrong way, leaving time and space for a clean strike. I can't blame anyone for having a go but too often our shots are predictable and easily blocked.
13. Nah. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one regarding whether or not it was a foul by Gordon on Azeez. After watching it again, what is clear is that if any contact did occur it was outside the box. Btw, just saw the fourth Celtic goal. Who was that McGregor ghosted by to stroke the ball into the Thistle goal? Quelle surprise! Sean Welsh. This ball watching is one of our major failings and we need to cut it out.
14. Do you think we could all calm down about. We lost against the best team in the league, so what? I didn't see all the goals but from what I gather 2 and 3 were down to sloppy play on our part. For me, this is what we have to focus on and try to eradicate from our game. But at present we can compete with every other time bar Celtic and the more negative comments on here are just depressing to read. I did criticise Liam for his lack of action at Celtic's first but he did ever so well for our goal. More of that Liam please. As for the 'penalty incident'. Once again, Ade's first touch let him down and from memory I thought Craig Gordon attempted to pull his arm out of the way, only making neglible contact, if any. Never a penalty, but a yellow card seemed harsh. But dems the rules these days.
15. Disappointing goal to lose. I'm afraid that once again I feel young Liam had to be sharper and quicker of thought there, slide in and put that out for a corner instead of standing off hoping the keeper gets it.
16. Gave in and had a look at the match 'highlights'. Azeez is an absolute wage thief! There must be guys playing junior football who have more of a strikers instinct in front of goal than him. His one on one's with the keeper are just embarrassing, and in this game he was slower that a week in jail reacting to Kris Doolan's header rebounding off the post. He really should be anticipating the ball coming off keeper or post, but would be as well sitting in the stand with us given the way he just stands there ball watching. Just not good enough for this level. And if I hear another comment on the radio or elsewhere about Liam Lindsay being an accomplished defender I'll greet. He's got potential but really needs to start learning from his frequent and costly mistakes, up his energy levels, and switch on to the pace of the game a whole lot sooner.
17. So disappointed with the outcome yesterday. I treated a couple of Rangers supporting friends to a first time visit to Firhill and afterwards I felt really proud of the way my team and fellow Jags fans conducted themselves. They were equally immpressed. We have the nucleus of a very good team and I'm confident we can stay up this season, but the team need to show 100% commitment and no repeats of the Fir Park first half performance at Hamilton on Saturday. I must get one frustration of my chest though. In the second half Sean Welsh found himself in space just outside the box and chose to play a delicate chip into the 6 yard line area. No, no, no, Sean! For gawd's sake man, put your boot through it and get it on target. You might score!. We may get a rebound off the woodwork or the keeper which Dools could pounce on! But please, just don't make it easy for defenders with these wee delicate chips.
18. To echo Lindau's thoughts. Given the effort I put in to get to and from that game yesterday I was fizzing at Lindsay for his lack of effort in tracking McDonald's run for the second goal. He must be at least ten years younger than McDonald but looked as though he was dragging an anchor behind him.
19. Petition signed. Seen you at the game many a time and admire your determination to be as independent as much as possible and for getting along to see the Jags. Good luck Robert.
20. lol. Lovely skill from Abdul. Takes two defenders out to the corner and waltzes away leaving them looking at the corner flag.
21. You've got to hope that as Azeez grows in confidence, and tonight well help, he's going to score a few. He gets himself in to great positions and to be honest should have 3 or 4 tonight so far.
22. Yeeeessssssss! Azeez to Doolan. Simple tap in. 0-2 Ya beauty!
23. Get in there! Azeez header to the far corner of the net. Just as I was beginning fear the worst after several missed chances. Boys playing really well though - keep it up Jags.
24. Disappointing to be 2-0 after an really bright opening 35mins. We've been in their box several times but just didn't look like scoring. Hope I'm wrong but it's going to a long second half now. Don't think I can take any more of the Rangers TV feed anyway.
25. Cheers Willjag. Good to know.
