jaggy
I just thought I'd throw in my tuppenceworth as the last 2 games are likely the only ones I'll see in person this season (unless we make it to the Cup Final!!!) Both games sort of mirrored each other: v Well we played ok for 10 mins, lost a goal (with a penalty that shouldn't have been awarded), fell completely out of it until half time, then totally dominated possession in the 2nd half (albeit it with little end product) with Well dangerous on the break; v DU we played rubbish for 10 mins, lost a goal and then played the best football I've seen from us in a long while until HT. If we'd converted the chances near the end of the half I'm sure we would have won. 2nd half we sat a bit too deep and DU totally dominated possession but we looked dangerous on the break. Overall I think we are heading in the right direction, so get behind the team every week instead of berating and looking for scapegoats. We are a small team with a small support, but if we can consolidate in the Premiership for the next few seasons it might give us the chance to build. We are also a young team and some should remember that. The 3 young lads that played on Sunday did very well, although Keenan struggled early on, but it was interesting to see that as the 1st half wore on GMS moved to the other wing. One thing I do hope, is that after Sunday Archie will have realised that he can play Stevo & Dools in the same team. Stevo was immense on Sunday and also played well at Motherwell. Here's hoping for a few points in January!! 'Mon the Jags
Lenziejag
The problem Archie has now is that all 3 "new" midfielders - McDaid,Stevenson and Lawless played really well. So how does he also accommodate Higginbotham,Osman and Elliot ?
