CCjag Posted December 13, 2015 Report Share Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) The passing of John Peden at the age of 93 on 11 December saw Thistle lose a supporter who arrived at Firhill, in 1967 with sons Gordon & Graeme – later to be accompanied by John’s granddaughters Emma and Sara - following the demise of his first love, Third Lanark. John attended matches into his eighties when the frailties of age ended his active support. He will, however, embark on his final journey with only a slight variation to the Firhill song. Sincere best wishes to your family and friends at this sad time hopefully they take some comfort from their shared love of you and the family that remains, hopefully the Jags or the extended Jags family can bring some small comfort at this sad time.
