In this situation, with both Cerny and Scully injured, I would be expecting Crawford to be playing back-up to Gallagher. But did I read that Galls has hung up his gloves? I don't for a minute blame him for going there, but he would've been ideal cover for Cerny just the same. All hypothetical now unfortunately. He may well have felt he could still do a job as player even although I think he only got one game for us last season. I think it is our loss that he is no longer at Firhill.
