Lambies Lost Doo
Is this true? If so RIP. It was a bit of a landmark and always enjoyed my time in there. Thoughts are with the family etc.
sc_jag
I'm afraid so, now reopened as "The Dram". A couple of the paintings on the walls remain, but pretty much everything else, including the effigy of Thatcher, has gone. Shame.
Ancipital
Was in it a week past Friday for the first time since rebranded, there are some improvements in terms of a bit more space, sorting out the hellish draught at the top bar anytime someone opened the door (by removing the door!) and there's still a decent range of non-lager drinks and no music, but changing from 3 bars to 1 meant it was about a 4 deep queue for drinks by 10pm on a Friday, which I can never be bothered with. Collins Out!
The layout is better if slightly more poofier looking. The old bog in the bar seems to have gone and now there is just the one gents bog in the lounge where Doctor Paul used to do the quiz. Still it had football and rugby on the time I was in and still has a decent range of whisky so I'll give it a go.
