stevie inglis
In his book "ByGone Days of Yore"(1990), The Rev. G A McCracken states that in 1912~1913 donations from prominent people including the Tory Mp Bonar law and the proceedings from a Glasgow Rangers VS Partick Thistle football match were used to erect a new Grand Orange Order hall at Cathedral street and North Fredrick street in Glasgow on 31st May 1913. stuthejag
In August 1914 Thistle sent a XI to play Celtic for a Catholic School fund raiser and in April Rangers came to Firhill for a Orange Lodge fund raiser, both games ended 2-2 with 4,000 at Celtic Park and 1,000 less at Firhill. Walter
A shameful part of our history. The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.
The Earl of Hathaway
It's not really our history though, in the sense of the Old Firm. To be honest, i couldn't give two f*cks if we gave Padraig Pearse or King fecking Billie a white horse or two shamrocks to get them the tuppence they needed to set up Celtic or Rangers or whatever warped mythology that they apply themselves to these days to justify their bigotry. FTOF C'mon the Jags...

CUMBERNAULD JAG
A shameful part of our history. A wee tad over reacting there don't you think
Blackpool Jags
From a positive slant, in the past 80-odd years we've contributed the square root of feck all to the furtherance of the twin pillars of ghastliness: Orangeism and Popism; both appalling throwbacks to pre-civilisation. Monni Jags - FTOF!
Dr.D
HELLO HELLO. HOW DO YOU DO. WE HATE THE BOYS IN ROYAL BLUE. WE HATE THE BOYS IN EMERALD GREEN. SO FECK YER POPE AND FECK YER QUEEN!!!! Oh dear, then why do we invite them to take part in Testimonials? Two faced or not? The above little ditty sure shows absolute support for Partick Thistle.
